jaws and facebook question

Keith S

When using jaws on the facebook website
facebook.com,
can jaws enable the small drop down menus that allow someone to unfollow a story they have commented on, so you do not see all replies in that post?

I know that window eyes did not allow that feature, and am wondering if jaws does allow that.

I use the m.facebook.com site and it seems to work much better for me than the standard facebook.com site

Thanks

Thanks anyone, I finally jimmied around and got them. I
could not tell exactly, but I got somewhere where there were
two things, and the second was checked; I moved up and
checked the first. Why it changed, who in the world knows?

press Alt Period to get my list in Outlook Contacts, the

used to appear. I switched my settings from plain text to

Does anyone know what I do so that when I press Alt Period,

Re: The end of my shiny Android saga.

Carolyn Arnold

I had to return the Samsung Folder 2, because, first of all, there was no Voice Assist. So I got the lady at Cricket to download TalkBack. She could load it, it would be there, but then it would just disappear. My husband could get it back, then it would go away. Before we took it back, and I exchanged it, he had it going, when we left the apartment. By the time we got to the Cricket store, ten minutes away, with nothing done on the phone, there was no speech at all.

It was such a pretty phone, and I did have hopes. Well, life goes on, and I got an inexpensive phone plan.

Carolyn

Re: Confused about the differen versions of Outlook Express

Carlos

No.  They are not the same.  The one for $10 is in fact the original Outlook Express included in XP which has been modified to work on later versions of Windows.  OE Classic is a completely different program which was designed to look and feel like Outlook Express, but the developer is still working on accessibility.

Re: Lenovo laptops

Jeremy <icu8it2@...>

It might be something that's specific to certain models, but yes, the ability to turn off the touch pad on some of them does indeed work. He either needs to do a little better on his research or perhaps the model he's telling you about doesn't have the ability. Mine as an example has two different pointing devices, the touchpad and the trackpoint, which is sorta like a little joystick slightly below and between the g and h keys on the keyboard, so normaly I disable the touchpad and only use the trackpoint.
Take care.

Hi, planning on downloading and installing windows 10 to update my 8.1 computer.

question:

Can I use a USB keyboard to setup the windows 10 OS on a laptop, or do I have to use the laptop's built in keyboard?  I have really bad neropathy in my hands and can use a USB keyboard with the raised keys, while not being able to differentiate between keys on the laptaop's keys.  If I have to use the laptop's built in keyboard, I'm going to have to find  sighted assistance with upgrading the OS, and that's going to be an issue due to the screen (my wife tells me) looks like someone spilled liquid into the screen.

Thanks for any help/info
