Hi all! I experimented with the select date button and found that it works in Internet Explorer better. It's still a bit clunky though.
Also, I cannot access anything from last year. I may be doing something wrong. The mlb.com site is not as user friendly as it used to be. The audio streams sound better, but the accessibility has taken a step back.

See the buttons on the page for previous day and select a date. I haven't tried this select a date button for while, but it used to be graphical. If you choose previous date and go back far enough, you will go back to last year and find the world series games.

I'm currently in the process of starting an FTP server using the
program FTP server.
My question is, does anyone know how to create an alias?
It's bben quite sometime since I've used this program, and so
consequently I've forgotten how to create one.
Also, if anyone has any other ideas, that isn't very expensive,I'll
be happy for the information as well.
Thanks in advance.

Troy, just arrow down, and you'll eventually see the games for whatever day you are looking for. They have changed things and not for the better. TV and radio broadcasts are listed together. Jim

Re: question about MLB game day audio

You have to log onto the site and then use the calendar to move back to the date for the world series games.  Using a mouse this is quite simple.
Using a screen reader, you have to go back day by day because the month and year icons are graphical and won't respond with screen reader keystrokes for JAWS or NVDA.

Good luck.

Re: Which WinRar

Kwork

When on the download page for WinRar:

https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Download the version for your operating system. You'll need to know if you have a 32 bit Windows, or a 64 bit Windows.

If you have a 32 bit Windows, look for the line that says:

WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 5.60

If you have a 64 bit Windows, look for the line that says:

WinRAR x64 (64 bit) 5.60

Press enter on either of those lines, and the download should begin.

WinRar is not a free program, but you will be able to evaluate it for a time. If all you want to do is extract rar archives with it, the free 7-Zip program:

https://www.7-zip.org/

will do so while remaining free forever. If you plan on creating rar archives, you will need to use WinRar.

Re: Help Please; Excel 2003

Quentin Christensen

I only have newer versions of Excel, but try reading the status bar with NVDA+end (desktop keyboard layout) or NVDA+shift+end (laptop keyboard layout).  Certainly on newer versions of Excel this tells you that you have a circular reference, and on the right sheet gives you the cell.

So on mine, on every worksheet it has "Circular references", but on the sheet that actually has the circular reference, it reads "Circular references: H4".  Press CONTROL+PAGE DOWN to move through the sheets, and check the status bar on each as you go.

And just for anyone following, not familiar with circular references, they are a reference to the current cell in a formula.  So for instance, if I put the formula:
=A1+B1
in cell C1, it will add the values in A1 (say 5) and B1 (say 3) together and show the total (8 in this case) in C1.

If I wrote this formula in cell B1 however, it wouldn't know what to add up as the reference to the current cell (B1) would be a "circular" reference.

Regards

Quentin.
