FW: help with hp printer

Adrien Collins <adriencollins22160@...>

Hi

I have a hp deskjet 2050 j510 printer, I haven't used it in a while but as
the ink is cheaper than my canon printer I wanted to get it working. For
some strange reason, the printer did a perfect photo copy of a farm foods
magazine but for some reason when I sent a document to the printer from my
pc the page came out blank. I have the printer situated the other end of my
room so have to use a longer usb cable. The printer is getting the message
to print but nothing is coming out, the pages are blank. I am using windows
10 pro, latest version, I removed the printer and reinstalled it and all the
software. I haven't been able to test it as I need somebody sighted to help
me but why would it behave like this? Rather odd I think.

Regards

Adrien

Coroding battery?

Sharon Hooley

Hi,

I have a first generation Victor Reader Stream that I haven’t used in a long time.  I’d like to use it again while I send the Second Generation model for repair.  But when I pulled it out of my storage tote, I found the top surface to be very sticky, as if I spilled juice on it.  Is that how this kind of battery feels when it’s coroding?  If so, how do I dispose of it, and what should I clean out the compartment?

Thanks,

Yes, I looked to see if there were any check boxes, but nothing appeared. Maybe what I’ll do is change the location where the files are downloaded.
Thanks for the help.

That is also what Windows Media Player does.  It doesn't matter if the files are there, it keaps a record of what has been burned and you have to tell the program to burn the items that are shown when the cd is inserted and the player has gotten the list of songs or whatever.  Any of them you want to burn again must be unchecked.  I don't know how CDEX handles this but that may help you find out what to do.

They (the tracks that you’ve already  ripped) went to whatever directory it is that CDex is set at and it’s spitting out the CD because of this. I don’t recall the default directory of CDex. Press F4 to go to the various settings and arrow + tab around and see where it is set.

Hi, everyone,

I am using Windows 8.1 and JAWS 18.

I’ve ripped a few CDs on to my computer, but then I realized I got the number wrong. It is a book, so I named a couple of the files as CD 1, and so on.But now that I have tried to rip the same CDs again, the CD gets spat out, and there is no trace of the previous rip I had made.

If I’m not explaining it well, please, let me know and I can try to be more clear.

Thanks a lot, everyone!

Hi All,

Some time  when I get a send space address, it does not show as a link.
If some one sends me an address that should show as a link but it
doesn't, is there a way to turn the address into a link?

Sometimes if I forward the email that has the address that does not show
as a link to myself, the forward will show the address with a link.
Other times it does not.  If there is still no link after forwarding the
email, I will just coopy the address and go to the SS Wizard for the
download.

I use Thunderbird, Jaws 2018 and windows7

Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Hello,
I'm setting up my email account, but some how I have changed something to think I'm wanting to  use a exchange server, instead of pop or Imap.
I've tried to remove the account which I did and then start fresh so I do pick pop and still get no where.
I also get a message saying that my outlook settings do not support any of the outlook sign in methods.
I'm not sure what else to try, it may  be time to call MS. support.
But I think this is something I should be able to do and have done it in the past.
Thanks for any  tips you can give me.
Please don't tell me to look on Google, because I've been struggling to get this problem figured out.
I've got win 10 and jaws 2018.
Thanks for the help.
