Open the mail app. Tap the “back” button until you get to the list of all the mailboxes. In the upper right is an “Edit” button. Tap on this. In the lower left you will find “new mailbox.” Tap on this. At the top you will find an edit box in which she can give the New mailbox a name. Swipe once & you will hear “mailbox location.” Swipe once & you will find a button. Tap on this. A list of mailboxes will be displayed. Choose where she wants the new mailbox i.e Yahoo. Tap “save” in the upper right. Donna

Emoticons
Nancy Shackelford
I need a good list which I can navigate and get each text combination
for each emoticon. I got a list on Wikipedia, but it's not set up in a normal table, and I'm not sure which set of characters goes with which icon. Thanks in advance, Nance -- Nancy Shackelford --Walk On Faith And Trust In Love - Michael Reid--

USB Dectalk question
Kay Malmquist
Hi all,
I have a USB DecTalk and I have a question.
Does it run on the 9 Volt battery or does it need a power supply? I
don't think I ever got one with it. If it needs the power supply does
anyone know what voltage it needs? Now for the most important
question. When I go in to Braille and
synthesizer manager, Dectalk is not in there. What do I do about
that? Thanks for the help.

Some phone plans have
caller ID and call waiting included in their plans and some charge an
additional charge. If you have Caller ID and Call waiting The Panasonic phone
only voices Caller ID when you are not already on the line. All incoming
calls are logged into the phones screen and a sighted person can scroll down and
see who called.

I would too, but that is visual on a screen.

One thing with an iPhone, and I would imagine also with Android is you can hear on your phone caller ID announcement, but your person on the other end does not. Also, of course, you can go to recent calls and check all of your calls. Best regards, Carolyn

Hello all, The problem I have found with these phones is that there is no way to review the caller ID. If you don’t here it or you have been gone you won’’t know who has called. I would love for there to be one of these handsets you can review the caller ID with. Greg Wocher On Mar 4, 2019, at 8:19 AM, Ann Parsons <akp@...> wrote:

Re: MLB on iPhone Question

on the iPhone you use "at-bat" to handle all broadcasts. If you're paying the $2.99 per month or so, you'll get the audio of either home or away broadcasts. I've never attempted to use the iPhone and Safari to listen to my broadcasts because of the convenience of at-bat.

I don't think most "cable companies" or other phone handlers provide for call_waiting_id, and you can tell if it is available on your phone line if you get a high pitched beep with the call waiting tone.

Google Chrome crashing
Vicki W
Whenever I try to sign into my Google account using
Chrome, it crashes and I can't sign in.
If I open IE, it shows me as signed into Google
which I could easily do from IE.
As soon as I press the sign in link using Google
Chrome, it shuts down and when I try to reopen it, I have the option to restore
the page and the message that Chrome did not shut down correctly.
How can I sign into Google Chrome and what could
the issue be? I'm using the latest version of Chrome.
Thanks.

Hi Nancy,
Doing a search gave me the following:
Red or Yellow USB connector - Sleep and Charge
This is not a USB specification, but more of a feature. This color indicates that the connector does not power off during sleep or standby mode. On laptop or desktop computers they are great for charging external devices like smartphones. Its specification can be, USB 2.0 or USB 3.0, so check your computer or device documentation for the exact one. Take Care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Hello,

When you hear this notification hit either shift plus F6 or F6 to get to the notification. Once you get to the notification it should allow you to update chrome. Also you can open up the chrome menu with alt and arrow up till you hear the help menu. Arrow into the help menu and the first item should be about chrome. Hit enter on this. Chrome should automatically start updating after several seconds. You should be able to tab around a bit in this screen to find whether its updating or not. Greg Wocher

I found out that I had to upgrade my IOS version above 11 to listen to games. I upgraded my iPOD to the latest IO version, but still having problems listening to games from my IPHONE or IPOD. I have no problems listening to games on my computer, so I know I'm registered, but the phone that had a IOS version less then 11 would get a error message my error message is can't listen to this stream. I've talked to MLB support and told me that listening to games from a device which has any IOS lower then 11can't listen. After upgrading I still have the same issue. Any ideas?

Using Safari, I have been able to tune into radio stations and read complex web pages and the like. I do have a question about my proprietary streams--namely MLB and Tune In Premium. I am able to get to the sites, log in and click on a stream. On these 2 sites, I am then redirected to the Apple App store and instructed to download the app for each site. I haven't done this because I am already paying for a subscription to each of these services. Won't the iPhone or the provider allow you to simply log in and play the stream--just like using Firefox or Edge in Windows? Must you use the app to listen? And how much more will this cost?
