I don't know if you can.  I've only seen this discussed very rarely and a long time ago, but I think that if you go over a limit of recipients for one message, your e-mail provider will block the message as spam.  This will, I hope, be discussed further.  The best thing to do might be to send to perhaps ten people, and then ten more but that may be too low a restriction and you may be allowed to send to more.

Re: Something to help blind kids to learn Braille!

Gene

I may check the page with another computer later.  the one I'm using is too old and slow to determine whether the video can be played.  But the text you saw, sent by another member, is on the page.  I don't know how you look at web pages but if you can find the text, it may help you in other situations.

I'll look at the page again and explain how to find the text without having to read most of the page before the text starts if you wish.

I haven't done this but if the page is more or less typical, you should see something related to playing the video such as a play button.  Do you see anything when you start at the top of the page and type b to move by button?

LEGO unveils braille bricks to help visually impaired children learn braille

LEGO hopes its new product will be a fun way for kids to learn while they play.

LEGO is testing a redesigned version of the iconic childhood toy that is meant to help blind or visually impaired children learn braille in an engaging way.

It's a big mission, given that only 10% of blind children in the U.S. are currently learning to read braille, according to a report by the National Federation of the Blind.

LEGO unveiled its Braille Bricks on Wednesday at the Sustainable Brands Conference in Paris, France.

According to LEGO's announcement, the Braille Bricks will be molded with the same number of studs used for different letters and numbers in the braille alphabet, but will still work like original LEGOs.

Each brick will also have the letter or character it represents printed on it, to make sure everyone knows which are which.

I would think that using the context menu key or shift f10 would generally be the way to right click the attachment.  It requires fewer steps.

Hi Joseph,

There is no add on required and there is an issue with the names of the
attachments in that they are often truncated.  The best way to get the
whole name is to highlight one of them and right click with your numpad
star key and then choose save and view the file name.  You don't have to
actually save the attachment because when you choose save, a save as
dialogue opens and you are given a choice of where to save as well as
the format if any choice is available. You can then read the file name
and press escape to close the dialogue box.  You can then delete the
file if you don't want it by right clicking again and choosing delete
from the context menu.

Marie <magpie.mn@...>

You might have had the version one voices but now need the version two. Go to the Help sub-menu and look for the option to get new voices. It will take you to the web page where you can sample and download the voices you want. Just make sure you select the two in the combo box.

need help with windows 10

Troy Burnham

Hi all,

Sorry for the vague subject line but there's actually 2 things I need help with and I wasn't sure how to phrase it.

First, I installed jaws 2019 yesterday evening because windows 10 updated me to version 1809 but now when I go into settings and type something I'm looking for, even though it may be doing what it's supposed to do jaws always reports that I'm sitting on the word settings and it never moves its focus even when I tab. I had upgraded to 1809 a few months ago with Microsoft Accessibility's help and the same thing was happening so I had them downgrade me again, but I found out later that jaws 2019 works best with windows 10 and not jaws 18 or whatever I was running at the time, so this time I installed jaws 2019 and the same thing is still happening. What changes can I make to jaws so I can move around in settings and still know where I am?

Also, every time I install something new I get asked if I want to allow changes to be made, how do I turn that feature off? Btw if it matters when I boot up I go straight into windows without dealing with a log in screen.

Thanks in advance for any help with these matters.

Troy

Hello;

here's another way to create a group in the peoples app,

To do that follow these steps:

1. Press Windows Key+S=search, and type people press enter.

2. When People app starts, tab to add a new contactpress enter.

3. In the Name section enter the name of your group.

now tab to the personal email edit and type in email addresses, with semi colon between each address, note, no spaces,

4. After you're done tab to the Save button press enter.

5. Now the new “group” will be added to your list of contacts.
