You may well want to wait for other comments or suggestions.  Here is information you may find useful.
See this page.
You may want to try this plugin but I have no idea if it is accessible.

Hi all,

When I record my show for the global voice, I notice that sometimes  that a file I am playing is lower in volume than the rest of my files that I am using. Is there a way to get win amps to play all files at equal levels? Jim I am running windows ten and jaws 2019. Jim

If you are using the plex talk pocket that should be easy to do.  Also it may help to read the built in user's guide.

Winyl

Whilst listening to an episode of the "Mike's Tech Show" podcast, Mike Smith mentioned he'd found a new small-footprint media player he was just over the moon about. It's called Winyl, available from https://winyl-player.github.io/. Has anyone ever heard of it? I can't imagine replacing Winamp with anything, so before even trying it, I thought I'd ask this community what it knows about it.

You will probably find some things you will have to get used to, such as that the interface for working with settings and features is different.  Chrome uses one menu.  I would suggest trying it, perhaps going through a tutorial that a member has made available and probably will give the link for in this thread.  but for just plain browsing, you don't have to learn much of anything so you can try that right away.  One important thing to know is that control l is used if you want to type an address.  Control o doesn't take you to that place in the program.

Good morning folks,

I believe that is what they are called in google chrome.

Can someone provide steps on how to search for one?

I actually accomplished the procedure this past weekend, but forgot how I did it. In my defense, I was flustered with the other chrome situation I was experiencing.

Thankyou,

Sincerely,

Call humanware  and ask them how to do a cold reset.  It will set a new profile, and that might work for you.

Opera Browser, is it accessible?

Walter Ramage

Hi all.  To explain briefly!  When trying to download files via the Zippyshare host I get a 403 error.  It appears that for some reason Zippyshare is blocked in the UK and I think Germany also.

It would appear that using a VPN or altering the DNS settings is a work around.  However The free VPN services I've seen are not accessible and others that might be are rather expensive.  Adjusting the DNS settings is something I'm reluctant to try because I am afraid of unintended consequences.

I have though heard in the last half hour that the Opera Browser has a built in VPN and I would like to know if anybody has an opinion on this browser and just how accessible, or not it is.

Before the blockage I would download Zippyshare files via Mipony because going through the web site there were risks of unwanted and dangerous pop ups. Using Mipony avoided these nasties so I wonder if I use this Opera Browser how to tell Mipony to use Opera to download rather than Internet Explorer.  I'm sorry for the complicated question but I really don't know how to explain it better.  With many thanks.  Walter. .

Alternatively, get LibreOffice. It's free. The Excel-format spreadsheet implementation is very good. It does crash when trying to import a comma-separated-value (CSV) file while using JAWS, but switch to another screenreader--anything other than JAWS, import the CSV, then switch back to JAWS and you're OK.

Hi James,

I purchased our licenses several years ago, so I don't know if lifetime licenses are even being sold anymore.  You would have to look at various websites that sell Malwarebytes like Amazon, Staples, New Egg.... to name a few.  I've done various searches from time to time and haven't found a lifetime license in quite a long time but, it doesn't hurt to check every once in awhile.

Hi all,

Depending on which incarnation of The Microsoft Office Suite you have, you may already have Excel. Try this. Press your Windows key and type Excel. Do not hit enter. If the computer comes up and says Microsoft Excel, you're golden, hit enter to invoke the program.

Yes get it every time launch the program and have even run a repair and also deactivated and reactivated the program and still the same. So have sent support an email about this to see what they say about it and what can be done.

So depending on their answer will try and remember to post it to the list.
