Thanks. The black versus blue thing I knew about, but had forgotten how to differentiate tactually. It took a little bit of doing, especially where the connectors are in pairs and close together, but I think I got it straight which are 2's and which are 3's on this particular machine.

Here's how you can feel the
difference using your finger between a USB 2.0 port, & a USB 3.0
port. Stick the end of your finger into the USB port.
The
2.0 port will feel pretty open with the contact in deeper, but the 3.0 port will feel like there are contacts right up to the edge of the opening. Black USB ports are 2.0 and blue USB ports are 3.0. USB 2 or 3?

If I look in Windows Device Manager, how can I differentiate between USB 2 and 3 ports? Also, is there any way to tell, I mean really tell especially manually, which port is a USB 2 or 3 port? At one time I thought there was, and that I could actually tell the difference; these days, I'm nnot so sure. Does that mean my sense of touch isn't what it used to be? Not surprising, as not much else about me is either (LOLLOL).

Hello list
My laptop runs win 10 and jaws 18. All of a sudden when I tab from the desktop to the search button I can not activate it with spacebar or enter. Also in the Notification section the icon to select wifi connections does not work. Everything else works. Now I can not access the settings to try to choose a restore point. The Ecobee app for Ecobee thermostats is also quite accessible.
The Ecobee 4 hardware does have an Amazon Alexa built in.
I received one of these for Christmas and it has remote censors that are quite nice. For example If I have the thermostat set to 68 and my office temp is 70 and the location where the thermostat is is 66, it won’t run the furnace to bring the thermostat location up to 68 as where I currently am is the Office and it knows it.
I did need sighted assistance to get it connected and set up for the first time.
