Honeywell Lyric T6 WIFI $295

Does anyone have either of these thermostats and if so, does the

There are no single modifier key shortcut commands as far as I know, such as control p and with good reason.  Such shortcuts are very commonly used by programs or Windows.  Think of all the programs that use control p for print.  I assume that's the reason Microsoft doesn't use them in shortcut key commands.  You can try combinations such as control shift p or control alt shift p, but I don't know if they work.

Gene,
Control alt are automatically added to the command so you only have to type the letter.
Then, if I want to make another type of shortcut (E.G. Shift+P) I'll not be able to do it?

Re: ninite question

If you go to the icon, that is move to it, and then follow the instructions, if you hear that the command is what you expect, control alt c, then when you tab to ok and activate it, the short cut command should work.  If it doesn't, then there are possibilities why it isn't.  You may have used the command in the past for another program and you no longer use it for that purpose.  The command may not work even though it should.  In that case, try a different command, any other letter or number you want.  If you aren't using e, that's an easy one to remember since it is the last letter in the word.  Or b for browser or anything you find easy and/or convenient.

Whatever the reason the command isn't working, trying another may solve the problem.  When you are tabbing and get to the field with the command, press the back space once and the command you are trying to use will be removed.  Then type any letter or number.  Control alt are automatically added to the command so you only have to type the letter.  Then tab to the ok button and activate it.

Hi Group:

I just wanted to thank you all so much for your help with getting me set up with google chrome.  I just figured out what I did wrong by setting up the shortcut key.  I didn't hit tie apply button. It's all working fine.  As soon as I launch chrome, it asks me to make it the default browser so I don't need to do any of the steps that someone mentioned.  We can finally put this to rest.  I am so glad that I have this list.  I couldn't have done it without you guys.  Thank you again.

Re: mail app and outlook account

David Moore <jesusloves1966@...>

I have a good idea about why you are not receiving your email updates on the Gmail app on your phone, but you are receiving them on your laptops.

I do exactly the same thing to read and respond to my emails.

I believe that your Gmail account is set to POP3 instead of IMAP.

With POP3, when your messages are sent to one email client on your laptop, the emails go away on the Gmail server.

Now, using the Gmail app on your phone, you are accessing your emails right on the Gmail web server.

However, because your Gmail account is set to POP3, they are not there on the server.

That is why IMAP is the way to go.

With IMAP, you can have your Gmails sent to as many clients and on as many devices as you want, and all emails remain on the web server.

They stay on the server until you go to your Gmail account and delete them.

Here is where you have to be careful, though.

On your phone, when you delete your emails in the Gmail app,you are deleting them directly from the server. This is because your phone is not using a client, you are accessing your Gmail server account directly.

So, if you delete emails on your phone before they get to your

Email clients on your laptops, they will never show up on your laptops.

I could go on even more, but let me know if your Gmail account is set to IMAP or POP3.

You have to do this on the gmail web site!
