There is one that synchronizes bookmarks across the browsers it is called Eversync. https://www.everhelper.me/synchronizer.php
Another bookmark manager is called Linkstash from http://www.linkstash.com
This one saves the links in it’s own database and you launch the link from it’s interface and not from your browsers. It reminds me of Windows Explorer.

.That’s the thing, I cant find a good replacement plugins/extension to work with firefox , IE and chrome at the same time. With the newer version of firefox, the plain old favourites don’t work anymore

Abby,
I always have more than one browser, so I have started doing a very round about thing.
When I find a page I want to save in Chrome, I copy the URL from the address bar, and just in case I get busy and forget, I paste it into a notepad document with the title of the page.
I go ahead and save it using Chrome, but later I will open up IE and paste the URL of the page into the address bar after pressing control plus O.
I then save it in IE and I have a folder inside my IE favorites folder where all of my webpages are completely organized. This allows me to have it where I want it and when using Chrome, if I want, I can just go to that favorites folder and enter on the page, finding it quite easily.
It sounds complicated, but it is actually very quick to do.
I just read that the issue with Chrome and bookmarks is a JAWS issue, so maybe it will get fixed.

accidental delete of downloads directory, need to restore, urgent!
David Mehler
Hello,
I don't usually cross post, so please forgive this posting. I need help quite urgently actually. I made a mistake and accidentally deleted my download directory in my user profile, this is on a win10 pro 64 machine. The download folder was highlighted and I hit delete, I wanted to delete another folder not downloads so I realized I was on the wrong folder, hit tab to no or what I thought was no and hit enter, as I did my machine shut down. It's having a heating problem that I'm going to partially address today and fully address with a new case. On reboot I found that download directory was gone. I need to get it back. It's been quite a while since I've had to do this, help! Any help appreciated. Thanks. Dave.

Facebook - Chrome vs Firefox
Hi,
Just now I was testing the m.facebook
webpage with Chrome, which isn't my default browser, to see if I
could reproduce a certain behavior.
Well, besides the fact that I couldn't reproduce what I was trying, I noticed that Chrome and Firefox behave very differently on the same webpage and thought that I'd ask it here. Does anyone know why this happens and if is there a way of making Chrome shows the m.facebook site the same way as Firefox shows it? Re: How do I share a file with Dropbox?
Gene
New main instructions start on new
lines.
When using the computer utility, find the file you
want to share in the list.
Open the context menu.
Find copy link to clipboard, or some wording like
that.
Press enter and after a brief pause, you will hear
that the link has been copied.
Paste it into something such as an e-mail
message. The recipient will be able to use the link to download the
file.
After you paste it, look at the last character in
the link. It will be a 0. Change it to a 1.
That will allow for a download just by following
the link. If you leave it as 0, when the link is followed, a web page is
opened. Changing the 0 to a 1 bypasses the web page and starts the
download just as any standard download link does.

Re: Incoming calls going directly to Voicemail for no known reason.
Carolyn Arnold
That is a good diagnostic. This also happens at the Senior Center, but they also are in a low place with woods in the back. I believe my better signal could be here at my computer between my router and an outside window. I don't think the router has anything to do with it though, sense I haven't set up yet for Wi-Fi. Like Pam, I can call from the house phone we have, and my phone will ring.

Thank you for giving me this command. I will use it if I have to. Regarding Duolingo, I had to log in again since I was using a new browser. I guess whenever you go to websites and you are using a different browser, it requires you to log in. If I have anymore trouble with any website, I will try turning off the cursor. Shelly
