Re: How to find a persons email address in outlook

You can Shift+Tab to it; you can start to respond, and read

it just below your signature or if no signature, just below the area allowed for your response; or you can press Alt+1. I am noticing on some lists now, that the return address is not shown, when I respond. I have tried Control+Shift+R to just respond to the sender, but I don't trust it. Best regards, Carolyn

Well, lightning just got me again!
James Bentley
Hi all,
Ten months ago, lightning wasted my desktop and a TV cable box.
Early this morning, It got a 28 inch Samsung TV and a ten dollar external
USB sound card. So, now, I’m considering a 24 to 28 inch model with
talking menus. I prefer that it not be a smart TV...But I’m not
sure.
I would appreciate any suggestions and ideas.

Hi shelly. Control F is the jaws find command, and should work on any browser.

It's definitely possible if the user set it up this way within the properties of the Recycle Bin.

Control+F and this is not a JAWS find command, this applies to all browsers I’ve used anyway and would imagine that this will also work with most other screen readers just the same.

Re: Facebook - Chrome vs Firefox
Shelly,
Do you know if Firefox reads like IE?As far as I could see, pretty much like one and the same. Anyway, for sure it's way better than Chrome. I tried to say hi to Chrome a few times, last of them being when I posted this email, but it's a real no go situation. I gave up on it. Fortunately we have Firefox to the rescue. Eden <edenkizer@...>
Hi Harmony, I know you can not control either of these with software. It's all directly on the device. The only zoom that can be controlled by an app is an f8 You and I just need to go recorder shopping and have someone help us at least get it set up, we could use chira for some but not all because we have to assemble it. I should not have returned the one I bought.

How accessible are the Zoom H1 and H6 recorders?
#digitalrecorders
Hi!
This is my first post here to the list, but I wanted to ask you all, for those who either have the Zoom H1 or H6 recorders, how accessible are the menus? Can you control them with your computer's software?
I bought the H1 from eBay before I realised I should've gotten the H6 because it's a lot more advanced, plus it has some XLR and TRS combo inputs. I just took a few CAVI courses on audio essentials and am interested in monetising some of my stuff.
Anyhow, if you have any information that you think might be helpful, please let me know! :-)
Best wishes,
-Heavenly Harmony

Re: Facebook - Chrome vs Firefox

I just downloaded chrome last week and when I went to m.facebook.com, I had a lot of trouble. Internet explorer was much better for me. When I was using chrome, I thought I was searching when in fact, I was posting to my page. It doesn't say the same things as IE. It totally threw me off. The whole format was different. When I use IE, I can see search, then home, messages, my profile, and notifications. When I used chrome, it wasn't like that at all. Do you know if Firefox reads like IE? I haven't used chrome since I had trouble navigating. Shelly

Outlook.com Navigation Issues
Ron Canazzi
Hi Group,
I use outlook.com as one of my mail servers. I use Thunderbird to retrieve messages, so I seldom visit the site except for basic maintenance and security issues. I hadn't been there for a long time until today. When I visited the site to check my Spam filter, I got a big surprise. The site is much different than when I visited it several months ago and is very difficult to navigate. There are some shortcut keys I have seen on their help screen, but I don't know how to get to a list of the folders I have. I couldn't find where the Spam folder was. Does anyone have any tips and tricks as to how to use this site more efficiently? Any help would be appreciated. -- They Ask Me If I'm Happy; I say Yes. They ask: "How Happy are You?" Re: accidental delete of downloads directory, need to restore, urgent!

Here are instructions I found online. But I'm
not sure just how you apply them. Someone else may send instructions that
may be easier to apply, or with more information about how to perform the
operations from the keyboard.
There is a lot of advertising on the page but the
information is there.
but more important, is that you should be backing
up all files you don't want to lose. If you have a hard drive crash, using
Shadow Copy, you will still lose all your files. If your computer fails in
another way, you may have to spend money repairing an old machine you would
ordinarily replace just to get access to your files again. Very likely,
for less than the price of repairing the computer, you could buy a 4 TB external
USB hard drive, if you need that much room.

When you tried previous versions, did you go
farther up in the folder structure? Try opening this computer,
finding the c drive, and opening previous versions. Do you see older
versions of the c drive? If so, you should find older versions of the
downloades folder by opening a previous version of the drive, then finding the
folder in that version.

So, where can I find a help file for this program? I looked but apparently it hasn't one by default, and I'm having a hard time finding out how to manipulate its settings.
