Jim, perhaps keep it simple;sorry sir, I can't really answer your question.
Here's what you could do:
Save the document as a Word document. Then, launch Documents, find the
saved document, copy it to the clipboard.
Launch the mail app, type the desired E-mail address in the "TO" Field, add
a subject header if desired, then maybe type a short something in the body
of the message, press Ctrl+C and the document on the Clipboard will be
attached, then press the Send button.
Hopefully I didn't make things too complicated; but now I can sit back and
let the gurus set me straight for screwing up, <LOL!>

I remember reading on a forum a few years ago about someone with a
similar issue using a dell laptop. This person reported that when a
computer moniter was plugged into the laptop, everything worked fine,
however, the actual laptop screen was dead. They used this laptop with
an external monitor until they sent it off to a dell repair center.
They ended up having to replace the whole screen. Anyway, you could
try to plug in an external monitor if you have one on your laptop to
see if this works for you. It's not a great solution, but if it works
you could at least retrieve all of your data and software settings and
such.

Btw I know that leagues can be created on the phone, but at least one of the friends I play with doesn't own a smart phone so I'm going to want to know how to do things on the computer so I can help this friend if needed.

If your using the g-mail website, just arrow down your list of folders
, starting with the inbox and you'll jump down to a header titled
"labels", which is the name given for your created folders, and at
the bottom of your list of folders or labels you'll get to a link
titled "edit labels".
Press the enter key on it and the page will refresh and then just use
the Shift key plus E keys to find the textbox to create your new

Re: Looking for Blind Friendly Window Air Conditioner Suggestions

Gerald Levy

You might try calling Friedrich directly at 800-541-6645 to find out whether there are any authorized dealers near you where you can see their air conditioners in person.?? If you order one from Amazon, I think they offerthird party installation at additional cost. Unfortunately, the touchpad on my Friedrich air conditioner is completely flat with no way of distinguishing the buttons without adding tactile markers, which I haven't bothered to do because I find the remote, with its large, tactile buttons very convenient to use instead.?? Keep in mind that all window air conditioners with electronic controls have digital thermostat displays that require sighted help to set the desired temperature.?? In the old days, the thermostat could be?? easily set by a rotary knob or mechanical slide lever, but this blind-friendly feature is no longer offered on today's electronic units.

Copying whichever files one is interested in sending to whomever as an
attachment via email is possible specifically when one is using Outlook as
their client, regardless of the version.

Just copy whichever files to your clipboard.
Open up a new email and file in the various fields.
When you get to the body of the email, just simply paste what you
specifically chose to clip to your clipboard by using Control+V.
If you are truly interested in checking to see that the file or files were
truly attached, ShiftTab once and you will see your various attachment or
attachments.

The only time you will have difficulties with this, is when the files size
is greater than 25MB or so (this size limit is determined by your ISP) and
is therefore going to vary.

Depending on the phone service provider, some voicemails can be sent to email.

In the email you’ll get the phone number and possibly a transcription of the voicemail.  You may even get the voicemail as an attachment.  Some services will allow you to press a couple keys on your keypad and block the last number that called or you can go into your online dashboard to block numbers.

If people have Amazon Echo’s you can get a device called Echo Connect.  This device connects to your landline phone and your wifi network.

When the phone rings the echo announces the name if it is in your contacts on Amazon.  If the number isn’t in your contacts it is announced.

If you have multiple Amazon Echo devices they will all announce the information.  You can then say “alexa answer” and it will answer and you have a speaker phone.

I’m saying that if you have voice mail and don’t have an answering machine, you can’t hear who is calling and you have to check your messages every time someone calls after waiting a short time.  Its very cumbersome.  Suppose you get four legitimate calls in eight hours and in the same time, four solicitor calls you don’t want to answer.  Checking your voice mail messages eight times is disruptive and cumbersome.  With voice mail, you can hear who calls and answer in real time if you want.

You can always inform the people in your life that you always let phone calls go to voicemail or your answering machine. If they know this, they will leave a message and expect you to call them back. No big deal.

If you get a phone call and you do not recognize the phone number, let it go
to voicemail! Just because the phone rings, that does not mean you need to
answer it. If they leave a voicemail and it sounds suspicious, it probably
is suspicious!

Take every precaution and screening your phone calls! I did not know about
call protect until someone mentioned it on this list a while ago. I
downloaded the app. We will see how well it works. I do not currently get
many spam calls, but I do get a few and T-Mobile seems to protect me from
them. I always get a warning saying scam likely when those types of calls
come in.

If you think the phone call was intended for someone else, leave it alone. I’m
sure they will eventually call the person they intended to call if it is
legitimate.

Just my thoughts,
