simple video editing
George McCoy <slr1bpz@...>
I think this topic was discussed on here some months ago, but I can't seem to find it in the list archive. I need to mark sections of a long video, copy them to the clipboard and paste them into separate files. I tried avidemux, but couldn't find a way to move through the long video with the keyboard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much, George

We have the RBR-50 with multiple satellites model RBS-50. The entire system operates as one single wifi network so you do not have to worry about multiple network names and passwords.

Good morning, would you be able to give the model number of your router? Because we are having issues with our spectrum router. And are looking to purchase one of our own.

Well just try and listen to what it is that you are reading a little more because more than one option was given. Hopefully below I’ve made this clearer this time around.
Changing the sounds.
1. Exit your email program. 2. Press the Windows key and type sounds which will be in Control Panel, or you can go to your system tray (Insert+F11), and select what will be titled whatever your soundcard is with a percentage of what it's currently set at, press enter and either press S for sounds or arrow to it pressing enter. 3. Now you will be in the Playback Tab, just Control Tab twice until you get to the Sounds Tab or Shift Tab once and you will hear Playback Tab where you would now arrow twice to the Sounds Tab. 4. On the Sounds tab, under Program Events, under Windows, click New Mail Notification. 5. Click Browse, and then select a different audio file. Note: Only .wav audio files are supported. Other audio file formats such as .mp3 or .aac can’t be used. Your favorite sound editing program might be able to convert other audio file formats to a .wav file. 6. Click OK. 7. Restart your email program.

Re: Request: Recommendations For Good High Capacity Router

I have the Netgear Orbi wifi system for my household which currently is running 23 wireless and 5 wired devices. Multiple simultaneous video streams and plenty of online gameplay occurs without a hiccup. WiFi is strong and and solid and yes the system is very accessible. Netgear developers even worked with me to make a part of the Orbi app accessible. Now it is possible to manage individual devices on the network using VoiceOver. The system is costly but well worth it in my opinion. I will never go back to a standard router.

Hi Group,
I think my current D-link router is n the way out. I now have 8 total devices: 3 wired and 5 wireless devices which need access to it. Can anyone recommend a high capacity and accessible router that will have more durability than the standard 50 dollar wonder available at local computer stores or on Amazon? Keep in mind that I will have to do the set up myself, so accessibility of whatever interface--usually browser based--is an essential requirement. Thanks in advance for any help. -- They Ask Me If I'm Happy; I say Yes. They ask: "How Happy are You?" I Say: "I'm as happy as a stow away chimpanzee on a banana boat!"

Abbie, 2 things, I never heard of the a10e until I
read your message so I searched out information about the phone, and as you
found there wasn't too much of a description of the phone. some of the other
carriers are offering the a10e free too besides verizon, a t and t, sprint, I
think it was metro pcs and boost. Anyway so I called the verizon customer
service and found out the a10e just came out on August 6th, so it's a brand new
phone and it costs $179, and to pay it in payments would be $7.72. It's a smart
phone, an android phone just with the screen. We're curious about this phone
too, so we're going to call the verizon store near us to see if they
have it, so we could go see what it's like. Interestingly enough last month
we found at walmart a verizon prepaid phone called the etalk that is a
flip phone and is on android operating system of 8.1.0. It's made by a japanese
company called tucomi and at walmart it was $25. This phone seems a bit
confusing. There's some areas of the phone, such as for writing text messages
where you have the option modes for lower case letters, upper case letters,
numbers, symbols and son, but those options are just numbered but not labeled.
For example if the symbols mode is option 5, you'll just hear 5 instead of 5.
symbols.
The second thing I wanted to let you know is that
you can continue to use a flip phone with verizon. I have 2 4g verizon flip
phones, the kyozera cadence and the lg exalt. Both of these phones are great,
but out of the 2 phones my favorite is the lg exalt because it's completely
accessible through out the phone. With your phone, if you like to make use of
other items in the phone, such as in tools, such as the calendar, the voice
recorder, the calculater, alarm clock and timer,, it's set up so well, you'd
really like the phone. To give you a bit of an idea, in setting an alarm you
would press the left soft key, it will already have you on the hour number to
set, but if you want to make sure, all you need to do is arrow right and the
voice will say minute, and if you left arrow it will say hour, and you
just arrow either up or down for the hour number you need. I don't think I've
heard this in any of the other flip phones. I love the calculator in the exalt.
The voice recorder in both phones is easy to use, and you could record for a
long time. The calendar, alarm clock, calculater aren't set up very well in the
cadence. The email area of the phone speaks as well. So far it seems that I
can't read the body of a message, but if from my computer I send an email
message to the email on my phone with a web site link in the body of the
message, I can enter on the link and it will take me to the web page on the
browser in the phone. The email area in the kyozera cadence speaks too. The
kyozera cadence costs about $122, and the lg exalt costs $144. I'll send you
information about both phones. If anyone has questions about either one of these
flip phones my email address is

Hi everyone:

My biggest problem with Siri is that she does not find much information for me. I have to go straight to Google for that. But I must add that I’m not extremely happy with Google lately either because I don’t always find the information I want to. I can’t say that Google assistant is too much better than Siri. Victor

Jaffa, Eloquence and Talkback do indeed SHAKE HANDS warmly. So, it can be
used on a ChromeBook and set for system-wide use. I got that info from a reliable source on another list. Now I should count up my pennies and consider grabbing a ChromeBook; I'm a tad unclear about Chrome books in general. There are too many to choose from. Anyhow, I'll keep reading and poaking around, I may just find one that won't let me walk away without carting it along. Sincerely, Olusegun Denver, Colorado

Samsung Galexy A10e
Abbie Taylor
I just received an email from Verizon, telling me I can upgrade to the Samsung A10e for free. I already have the Samsung Convoy 3, which I love. But I've had it for years. So, I suppose I should think about upgrading. A basic flip phone that is accessible, like a good man, is hard to find. I may just have to bite the bullet and get a smart phone.
Has anyone used the Samsung A10e? Does it have speech and buttons? What features are accessible?
Here's a link to the product page. It doesn't provide much of a description. So, I'd appreciate any input.

Re: eloquence on chromebooks and orbit reader
Jaffar Sidek
Yup! eloquence is a TTS engine. So in order to drive that engine, there must be an interface between the OS and Eloquence, as an example. For Microsoft Windows, it is currently Jaws and NVDA. But I don't know if Talkback which relies on the Google TTS engine has been made to communicate with Eloquence. If it has, then chances are good that it could be used on Chromebook, that is, If Chromebook itself is run on the Android OS..

Eloquence, as a TTS engine, is alive and well in Android Land. Make a
purchase from the Play Store and you're good to go. You can switch between it and any other TTS engine of your own choosing in Android Land. My limited understanding is that Android apps run on Chrome books; that being the case, perhaps one could try installing Eloquence on the Android side of things and see what happens!
