Unlike the other echo devices, lots of settings are done on the screen and not in the app. This goes for the spot as well.

Hi Vicki, find a video that you want to get notifications from from one of your channels, click on it should say something like actions button or something like that. And then select all modifications. You have to do it while the video was playing otherwise it will move to the next channel or another video that is somewhere like it in some cases.

If it says it in the old interface, that means the files and folders are bing displayed as a tree view. I've never seen them displayed in the old Dropbox interface in that way. I've always seen them displayed in a list view and such announcements don't occur there. Are you absolutely sure the person is not using the new interface, where my recollection is that such announcements occur?
Also, what screen-reader is being used?
If it turns out the person is using the old interface, it may be necessary to make a change in screen-reader settings.

You aren't using the right setting. The button, which I assume you are tabbing to, is a setting for just that one session. The permanent change is found in properties for Dropbox in the system tray. If you don't know how to find it there or have problems, ask here.
Also, the way files and folders are displayed isn't basically changed. It is changed to be exactly as it was before. The program is actually doing exactly what it was before, using Windows Explorer or File Explorer to display files and folders.

Re: New Dropbox Interface

You never had to access them that way. You
would press enter on the Dropbox icon on the desktop, then wait for Dropbox
to run, then press enter again and the interface would open and show your files
and folders.
By default, when you pressed enter the first time,
there was no announcement that was automatically voiced to tell you when Dropbox
was running enough to press enter again. You could look at the system tray
icon or just wait a little while.

bluetooth speakers with eq controls?
goshawk on horseback
hello all,
by good luck, rather than judgement, I recently
came across the Marshall range of bluetooth speakers, that feature actual
bass and treble controls. with some of the internet old time radio stations I
listen to, on my phone when I am not at home, this is super handy, as some of
the recordings these stations play, are far from good quality.
I thought that I would enquire however, if anyone
knows of any other such speakers, better still if there are any that feature a
3band, 5band, or more eq on them.
