I have googled the Sunu Band. It is a haptic smart watch. LSANDS sells it for $300. Amazon also sells it.

Then there are SDR's you connect to your computer, which is what the original poster was asking about, I think.

Hay, I had a k-cup machine but, wanted something smaller; we lack counter space woe! SO I was wondering if anyone knows of a good coffee maker with a cool wall for poring! I have been e-mailing Hamilton beact; mr. coffee and black and decker. I have not received a response; guess my question did not warrant a response woe! There is 2 people in the house but, I used to have a 6 cup machine but, it bit the dust! So anyone out there that might have a machine that has a cool wall and has buttons instead of minues? I think you have to empty the folder before it can be deleted.

I have Gmail in Outlook, and go and clear Deletes periodically. That gets them out of my phone too.

Re: Anybody Know If Any Software Defined Radio Applications Are Accessible with JAWS?
Gene
I think there is at least one blind hams
list. I don't know the address but other list members may. You may
get a better answer there.
As I recall, SDR allows you to operate a receiver
remotely and listen to stations from the remote receiver. I'm saying that
in case people want to know what it is.

Subject: [TechTalk] Anybody Know If Any Software Defined Radio
Applications Are Accessible with JAWS? Hey Guys,
I asked this on the All Audio list, and the Blind Tech list, but didn’t get
any responses other than inquiries as to what Software Defined Radio is. So I’m
hoping that someone here may be able to tell me whether any SDR packages are
useable with JAWS.
A friend of mine was telling me about it and it does sound interesting, but
he doesn’t use any screen readers, so he couldn’t give me any info on
accessibility.
So has anyone here tried any SDR packages with JAWS?
Thanks much.
Evan

Re: network connection
George McCoy
First, make sure the ethernet driver is installed.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
Press windows key plus x. When the menu opens, press m for device manager. Tab once to the desktop treeview. Down arrow about ten times to network adapters. Press right arrow to expand it. Doown arrow to the ethernet connection. It's probably an Intel device. Press enter to open its properties. Read the information there to see if windows thinks the device is working properly. If the driver is missing, you won't see the ethernet connection in the device manager. In that case, I would contact Kevin and see if he can either send you the driver or tell you where you can get it. If the device is present, you can try updating the driver. Shift tab once to get to the tabs. You will be on the general tab. Right arrow once to the driver tab. Tab to the update driver option, press enter and follow the instructions. If the driver was present and there is no update, you will need to go through the settings for the ethernet connection to see if anything seems amiss. Press windows key plus i for settings. Type ethernet in the search box and press enter. You should see two results; ethernet settings and find and fix problems with your network adapter. Run the find and fix problems option and follow the instructions. If no problems are found, go through the ethernet settings to see if anything obvious jumps out at you. If all else fails, contact Kevin. He's very good about support after the sale, especially when dealing with hardware issues like this. I like to think I'm pretty knowledgable about the windows OS and hardware in general and when I encountered issues with Kevin's computers that were beyond me, he jumped right in with the answers. One thing about that, though, is that you have to carry around more than
one gadget, and that also presumes that you can use one of those I

Right now I'm using interserver.net. You pay the same price each time you renew. I always recommend keeping domain registrars separate from hosting, and I've done that myself ever since I got my first domain 15 years ago.

That’s my argument for not buying any of this stuff. I’m surprised companies are still able to make money selling these blindness products for thousands and thousands of dollars when there are so many mainstream solutions available.
