Do you know how to download with Internet
Explorer? It makes it much more difficult to test the problem if you limit
yourself to only one browser.

Re: chrome

I'm not sure. Where do you see such wide
fluctuations as five minutes and two days. The only place I see something
like that is when uploading, not downloading, to Dropbox. What happens
when you use other browsers? Perhaps the download is timing out because of
a network problem. it may be so slow for so long that it simply stops as a
timeout. You may be able to verify that by checking the download history,
which I'll discuss later if necessary. But first, what happens with other
browsers?

Re: accessible tor version?
Gene
I've never heard of such an option and I doubt
it.
You can write to the Tor developers. I don't
know why accessibility is disabled now. I remember reading a year or two
ago that Tor developers had made the current version accessible, at least that
is my recollection.

Hello,

Got it fixed. I searched and found a bug accessibility thread in tor. After reading all of it's posts they seem to be recommending updating to tor v8.55. The version I had installed was 7.5, and it only updated to 8.3. So I went to the torproject web page and found that version as 9.5. Downloaded it, installed, and it is working great! Thanks. Dave.

Re: accessible tor version?
Gene
I don't know if the browser will work properly when
this change is made, but it is based on the Firefox browser and that browser has
a setting to disable accessibility. I thought this setting was off and
that the current version of Tor is accessible. I remember reading that
awhile ago. If that isn't the case and accessibility is disabled, you may
need sighted help to change the setting so your screen-reader can receive
information from the browser.
You can try changing this setting and see if the
browser works well. I don't know how the Tor developers may have changed
the browser compared to firefox and if it will work well after this
change. I am assuming that at present, you get no information from the
browser. I don't even think you can see the menus. Let me know if
things are different from what I describe. If they are, that may indicate
another problem, and others may be able to address it with more
information.
As I recall, the accessibility setting is somewhere
in options.

I would probably give away the tall ones, or maybe trade with a friend for the cone-shaped ones. I just priced cone incense on amazon. it's about 7.20 for about 120 pieces. Now tell me if I have it right, that you could burn the cones. One thing you might do if you just love the incense is to put it into your drawers; then all the things inside do take on the fragrance. Re: low tec solutions

Hi all,
It's fire regulations, Gene. It isn't the apartment complex's idea. One can buy battery operated lights now that look like candles. They may even have battery operated Minnorah's. They aren't the same as the real ones, but hey, the actual temple flames were in oil lamps, not candles anyway. The whole point of the miracle is that the oil for the lamps lasted eight days instead of just one. I think it's a shame that you can't like candles on a cake, but what can one do except follow regs. Hi all,
I ran into this at the National ACB Convention last summer. We couldn't burn candles at either the Shabbat service or the Mass on Sunday. So we resorted to t-lights.
