Morning all,

I was just going through my junk folder and I keep seeing these offers for asynchronous motors. Now, I know this is a totally weird, off the wall question, but what the heck is an asynchronous motor? Of course I'm deleting the spam, but since I'm getting more and more like my cat everyday, curious, what on earth is it? Is it a figment of the imagination, or are their really asynchronous motors? If the parts of the motor aren't syncked, wouldn't that prevent the motor from operating correctly? Just something innocuous to think about when the rest of the world is going to hell in a hand basket.

Hi Kerryann,
I found a similar issue on a Linovo laptop running Windows 10, and I finally
had to reload the laptop.
Of course this was after exhausting all other options, including
going into accessibility settings and making sure all of the features
pertaining to the keyboard were correct or disabled.
A system restore did not make any difference.

HP brand of computers. My student purchased one last year and the problem
was there and died within six months (the laptop not the student).
Theatre gave him replacement unit and the issue occurredonboth systems. I’vealso
worked with a 3rd computer of the same make and model and the same thing
occurred on that unit.

Thing is that when the right alt is pressed, it does not performs regular
task; e.g. Alt=f4 won’t close the programme.

I loaded lots of music on my new iPhone 11. Now I installed the Sonos app
and it piciked up my sonos system but it just shows radio stations but no
music on my phone. In system settings there is an option to add folders but
one has to type a name, so I assume that is for folders on a pc which runs
sonos. How do I get sonos to see the music on my iPhone?

You will need to get yourself a software that will successfully image your
one drive so you can then place this same data upon the new drive and then
you will most likely want to resize the drive after transferring your image
seeing as you stated that you were interested in going from a 500GB to a 1TB
drive.

I myself would use Image for Windows to accomplish this, but there are more
software's out there than just Image for Windows and some cost nothing.

Hello Steven, the auto trim has now been changed to Trim Silence.  To get to it, go to edit, the trim sub menu, and choose silence.  Alternatively, you can press control backspace to access the trim silence dialogue.  To change the rewind and fast forward speed, press F11 and you will find yourself on the play tab.  Shift tab to the rewind and fast forward edit boxes, and you can then change the settings to the speed you want.  Hope this helps.

I believe that I have a Victor Vibe player. Learning Ally, formerly

I think victor Vibes were around in this century, but quite early.
They used cds.
They looked liked a clamshell style cd player. Ancient technology these
days.
I had one for a short while.
The controls were not intuitive in my recollection.

Sis Norma, yep, I know the "pause button" you referenced. However, dear
sis, I use the PC Keyboard layout as opposed to the QWERTYZ keyboard layout.
So, the only time I switch to the symbol keyboard is when I need to type
HARD-TO-FIND symbols using PC keyboard layout.

BTW, do you know if we qualify for the PPP loan? My operations are smaller
than the smallest, currently under quarantine, and I'm too dumb to figure
out the rest of the story. Anyway, private response ok! Back to my

It has nothing to do with JAWS settings. In recording settings in the
Windows sounds setting dialog, you need to see what is set as the
default device.

What happens if you use the shift f10 command instead? That does roughly
what the context menu key does, though it may not bring up exactly the same
menu in all places. Also, are you using a directlhy connected keyboard or a
portable one? Portable ones don’t always send the proper codes for some
operations, at least on some computers.

Hi all,

Does anyone know a fix for a laptop running windows 10 and JFW18 that
whenever the right Alt keys pressed it behaves and says that “alt+Ctrl” has
been pressed. Any ideas on a fix?
