I’m not even sure you can do it from the desk top app any longer. I changed my apple id a couple of weeks ago and had to reauthorize apple music. Seems to me I had to use the IOS app do to it.

Hello Robin

I hear what you say but I am sure there was an item in Sonos on my iPhone 7 which said something like “music on this iPhone”. I do not know what is the use of the sonos app if I can only stream radio stations and music from my pc. Maybe I am just stupid but the sonos support people make it so difficult to ask for support that it is not worth while all the trouble. A shame for a company with such excellent but expensive products.

Hi,

I don't think you can. You can use airplay to play that which is on your phone through Sonos but I don't think you can get music resident on your phone to show up within the Sonos app. If I'm incorrect I'm sure others will chime in but this is the only way I've known it to be. o you're correct you can add the library you might have on a pc or networked drive as long as it's powered on it can be accessed but I do not believe the same holds true for the phone.

Take good care.

Re: Facebook Question

Hi Shelly,

The way to copy text from a text field is to make sure you are located within the text field and then use the rotor to choose edit and then use single finger up/down swipe to highlight items within the edit menu and then double single finger tap to perform the action.  One of the items is copy.  Other items are cut (use this if you make a mistake in a text field) select (depending upon what movement mode is selected: character, word, line--you can use the movement gestures once select is chosen to select text within the text field and then use the edit menu again to perform an action such as cut, copy and so on. And select all is a menu item within the edit menu which you can use to copy the entire field or cut the entire field to clipboard.  And finally there's the paste item within the edit menu which you can use to paste into another text field--perhaps within notes, or an e-mail message.

Everybody should get familiar with the rotor and the edit menu.  I got acquainted with it right after I got my iPhone and it has made messages I sent from my iPhone much cleaner and error free.  Even when using dictation for long messages, I go back into the test field and edit any mistakes.  Works quite well once you get used to it.

To do this on the PC, when you find the text you want to copy, make sure your cursor is at the beginning of the text. Press Shift Plus Down Arrow. This selects the text, and your screen reader should read the text being selected and tell you it's selected. When you reach the end of the text you want to select, press Control Plus C to copy. Go to your timeline and press Control Plus V to paste the text into the edit field where you write your post. If you need more help, you can email me off list.

They Ask Me If I'm Happy; I say Yes.
They ask: "How Happy are You?"
I Say: "I'm as happy as a stow away chimpanzee on a banana boat!"

Greetings to the Denver Dude,

Thanks for the generous offer of citizenship, but in light of the Donald's
direction to 3m, telling them to stop sending n95 masks to Canada, I'll
just say thanks but no thanks.
There is a similar group here, it is called CCCCARP. Carp makes me think
of a disgruntled fish.

Shelly, I gave you the wrong command my bad. It’s a three finger quadruple tap or coffee to text.

I tried what you suggested on the phone and nothing happened. When I was on the text that I wanted to copy and paste, I did the 3 finger triple tap and that turned screen curtain on and then I tried a 2 finger triple tap and the speech turned off.  I'm not tech savvy at all.  Sorry about this.  I can usually follow directions if they are simple.

House party for Shelley

joseph hudson <jhud7789@...>

Hi Shelley, I just downloaded house party end it looks like you have to add friends in order to invite them to a conversation from what I have gathered and I’m guessing next to the friend button, there will be an invite button to invite them to a conference. If you would like to try this, my link to add me is below.
