I once was a long time I.E. user, then started using Firefox. Which
worked OK. I now am using a browser called "Brave", which is some kind of a off shoot of Firefox. It is much faster, and keep the Ads from invading. However, there are some web sites it just does not read all that well. In those cases, I fall back on using Firefox. I avoid Chrome, more because of their Peeping Tom reputation. I am not attempting to over throw any government currently, but just don't care for the thought of big Brother watching every where I go, what I look at, and so on. My home Page is Duck Duck Go, and with Brave, which is also to be very Security oriented, I at least have the illusion of not being watched every time I venture out onto the internet. I can say that I never get Ads wanting to sell me stuff from sites I have visited. I get no Ads what so ever about anything. Brave is not all that Screen Reader friendly, but it is friendly enough, I can use it for what I do with it. Grumpy Dave

I'm guessing you'll be kicking and screaming sooner rather than later. There are a number of excellent resources for learning to use chrome or edge. Dean Martino just released a book called Get cracking with chrome. I think it's available from NBP. It's excellent.

Here you go, this is where you'll find all the
folders for backing up your OE files & messages. There's another way
of doing this and I'll post this 2nd method later today:
To find all Identities for OE in
Windows10, you need to press Windows key + E, to go to, This PC, then press, Alt
+ F, then press the letter, O, to open Folder options, then control + tab, to
the View tab. Now tab to the Tree View , arrow down to show hidden files
& folders, press the spacebar to turn this on, arrow down to Hide protected
operating system files, press the spacebar to turn this off, say Yes to the
warning dialogue, tab to apply, press the spacebar, & tab to okay &
press the spacebar. You need to do this so all files & folders will
show.
Now press enter on, App data, press enter on,
Local, and navigate to, Identities. In here is where all your identities /
email accounts are stored.
Or follow the file path below.
Press enter on the identity you want to work with, then press enter on the Microsoft folder Press enter on the Outlook Express folder, & this is where you will find all your .DBX files. Take care. To my knowledge the Protected Storage component cannot be backed up as an individual file, so to speak. That's why if the protective storage component gets corrupted for whatever reason Outlook Express needs to be reinstalled. We've been running the XPRunas version of OE for many years on several different computers running both Windows 7 & 10, and I can only recall 1 time when I had to reinstall OE because of a protected storage component failure. That 1 time was with an older version many years ago when this Rafail dude was still trying to get the coding right to work with Windows 7, 8 & 10.

After selecting Browse... Tab I believe twice to the treeview of folders that you are going to select one of which in this case, will be 0 files as you’ve stated. Now simply Tab to OK or just hit Enter while the folder is selected.
Now that you’re back upon the Browse... ShiftTab once to hear the actual directory that you have hopefully properly selected the one that you are interested in selecting and make sure that you once again, do not forget to select/check Include All Subfolders.

From: Fanus
Hello list From a blind person's perspective this may seem like a stupid question. During this lock down I stream many of the metropolitan opera house operas. It is quite a pain with my fairly old tv and laptop to stream and now I examine all kinds of products because my wife is sighted and she enjoys the shows and we did not realize there are so many things from youtube that one can stream. I looked at specs for the Amazon fire 4K stick and cube, the Google Chromecast ultra and the Apple tv but all of them have things that I like and things that I would want in the device. I have read the Take Control of Apple TV book and the writer asks what I want to ask year: is it worth while to buy an apple tv if one can buy a smart television with Airplay2 and the apple tv app built-in. Here in South Africa I can get such a tv for not very much more than an Apple tv. So, is there someone who uses a smart television with airplay and if so, is it a workable better option for a blind person? Regards Fanus ,
