ACROBAT READER DC: REMOVING SECURITY FROM A SECURED DOCUMENT

Olusegun -- Victory Associates LTD, Inc.

Hello Good People:

It's my turn to have to deal with a SECURED PDF document that I MUST READ
AND REACT TO. Looking through Acrobat Reader DC, I'm unable to figure out
where to go in the program to YANK OFF the document's security.

The only option I have is to SEND THE DOCUMENT BACK and request for an
UNSECURED COPY; however, before I do that, I thought I would BUG THE HOUSE
'cause it may have a QUICK AND SNAPPY solution for me.

Thanks to one and all for MAKING ME LOOK BETTER than I deserve with this
one!

Sincerely,

Hi,

Sometimes I notice that, when I'm trying to follow specific instructions for doing something on my devices, what I see is that things are either updated or, for another reason, is not exactly what I should expect.  It can come down to a file type that isn't exactly the same as what other format a certain file needs to be converted to.  Sure, I can get help, but I prefer things to match.  Here are some examples:

One time it seemed I wasn't able to complete a certain step when setting up my music studio.  I thought the tutorial was for the same version of the software.  Another time I was trying to complete the steps for converting an audio file to a ringtone format, but an extension wasn't quite the same as what was called for in the instructions related to the software I was working with.  There was another such incident recently that involved an app on my iphone.  For some reason, in this case,  I couldn't seem to find the community knowledge base to get updated answers.

My two frustrating cents worth,

Hey,

This is great to know.
I keep a running file of my bp and pulse.
I have been doing it using wordpad and tpying the date and time eachtime I make an entry.
I'll just chante the wordpad file to a notepad file and save my self a few keystrokes.

Hi All,

I have a .LOG file in Notepad. It inserts the current date and time when I open it. When I am done inputting text, I have been typing the Date and time to show that I have completed the current notes. My question is: Is there a way to get Notepad to insert the date and time when I have finished? If not, is there a keystroke to do this?

Thanks

Allen

Macros.

Carolyn Arnold

Windows-10, Office 13, JAWS 18 - what are the steps to make
a macro.

I found that Alt+F8 is Macros, but I could not figure out,
after I put in my short cut what to do to enter the text and
save it. I would appreciate it if someone knows and can tell
me. Thanks in advance.

One I want to put in is something for CNA. My granddaughter
is one, and any time I enter it, as I just did, I have to go
back and change it from CAN to CNA. I just had to again. So,
I'd really like to have a macro for that and also for my
name. Then, no telling what else I might want. I used them
to death back when I had WordPerfect 5.1.

Hi Billy,

I do not use PayPal a lot.  I do know that if the payee has PayPal, it's quite simple.  Just click on his PayPal link on his website, of if he sends you his information in an e-mail off the site, then just use that information to send the PayPal money to him.

Hello,

To answer the question, you lower it the same way you raised it..
The host can also lower it too.

As far as I know, you don't have to. The host sees it and responds or
doesn't but I've not seen anything about lowering it and it should have been
mentioned in the discussions I've seen if you had to.

I saw after a google search it is a toggle.
I am still learning zoom and I did not know the host can lower your hand.
I didn't even know there was a lower command until I saw it either lol.
Thanks everyone.

question about keystrokes

Kimsan <kimsansong@...>

Hi,

In windows 10 generally speaking whether if it’s using a screen reader or if it’s windows keystrokes, in everyone’s opinion, what would be the most important 10 keystrokes to retain?

Yes, that can differ from person to person, but we are talking for beginners, not intermediate to advance.

A few I can think of is printing, searching and saving.

No you have to get from the Microsoft store if you are using windows. You have to use edge, at least I did but, think you can use chrome to get iTunes. It works with jaws and NVDA  now!  This is just my experience. Cheers Heather

I feel kind of silly asking because of how long I have been using JAWS, but could someone provide a direct link to download iTunes for Windows 64 bit?  The Apple site seems to only offer the option to “get it from Microsoft,” and I have a rough time navigating the Microsoft Store once JAWS says the word touch, and I only hear that little Microsoft store bubble sound when I try to navigate.  Thanks folks.
