I don't have JAWS, but you should be able to find it using the page search feature in JAWS.

Keith,

The item you want is account settings.  To the sighted it appears as either 3 dots or 3 verticle lines.  Click to expand the menu.

Arrow down to settings and press enter to open it.

move by heading to the general settings heading.

Expand the contacts menu.

Down arrow until you come to emails.

Your current email is shown.

Keep arrowing down to the add email button.

Add the email you want to use as your new user ID.

You will receive two emails.  One will go to your current primary account telling you that a new email was added.

The other goes to the new email address asking you to confirm it.

Press the confirm button.

Reopen Facebook and navigate back to the emails dialog.

You will see both the old and new emails listed.  There will be a checkbox labeled primary or something similar.  Check it for the new email and you should be all set.

Hth,

George

Not sure about the rest of the people on the east coast, but I use my barbecue all year long. Actually, the weather this weekend isn’t too bad. Friday was awesome, yesterday was shitty and rainy, but today is nice again. We’re planning to pick up a feed a lobster, can’t wait.

To me,

An adaptive technology trainer is a fairly broad brush stroke.

It could cover such things as;

Operating systems,

Screen readers,

Word processing,

Spreadsheets,

Data bases,

Power point presentations,

Scanning and o c r applications,

I don’t think there is one-stop-shopping for all these catagories and all the ones I did not mention.

But, Access technology is a good place to start.

Well, judge, it’s just not fair, you people on the east coast of Canada, including those of my sibling who live there are having such poor weather on this long weekend.

Things will improve.

Hell, here on the northern prairie, people use their barbeques at 30 below.

cannot contact owners/managers of googlegroup "accessible"

J.G

Hello,

this week I tried to post messages about how to access "from" field in classic gmail view to googlegroup "accessible via its web interface. a system returned me message, that my post should be approved. Then I contacted owners/managers of the group via e-mail and then I followed to instructions, which were sent via automatic reply. And then, same message:

----- begin -----

Hello jozko.gregorc@...,

We received your message to the owner of the group accessible.

This group does not accept email to owners or managers. To send a message to the owner, visit the following page: https://groups.google.com/d/contactowner/accessible

If you have questions related to this or any other Google Group, visit the Help Center at https://groups.google.com/support/.

Thanks,

Google Groups

----- end -----

This message has been repeated each time, when I tried to follow instructions and fill web form.
So can anyone help me:
- how to contact a personal behind "accessible" googlegroup
- how to post messages into this group
- last but the most important plea or question, how to access "from" field in classic (html) gmail interface? I don't want to use a standard view due to performance issues. for me it is almost unresponsive, slowly etc. I'm using firefox and NVDA.
Access to "from" field is important for me, because an address, with which I'm subscribed to mailing lists, is different than my default mail address. So if I want to send a post to mailing list (new message or reply)I must change a sender's address or system would block my messages.
Yes, I can use web interfaces, but many lists don't have it or it is very inaccessible. Specificly it is problematic on freelists.org and system, which use mailman software to run its service.

Hope, I was clear enough to understand.

thanks for your help.

best regards,
Jožef

monthly basis. If the price has not gone up, individual subscription is
$9.99, $5.99 for students, $14.99 for family subscription up to five or six

There should be no problem logging in to Spotify on your Fire tablet

It has been several years since I've done a clean install of winamp, and I went all through the preferences after getting it installed and the only thing I wasn't sure about was the global hot keys, do I need to check the box that says something like "enable default multimedia key support"? I checked the box about global hot keys for winamp just below the multimedia box but I wasn't sure about the multimedia box. I checked both of them but of course I can go back and uncheck the one I'm not sure of if I need to.

Btw I tested it and at least things appear to be back to normal, I can use the up and down arrows for volume and the right and left arrows for going forward and backward in the file, I wasn't able to check going between files because it was just a single file but since the other things now work I'm confident that moving between files will as well.

Those 3 dot symbols are usually labeled so that screen readers can tell you what they are.  For example, one of them having to do with individual posts is labeled story options.

What did your instructions say to do after clicking on the 3 dots?  Knowing that could help us figure out which item on the page to look for.

Re: Exporting Contacts from Win-10 Mail to Outlook

I don't believe you can do this from the Peoples app.

Exporting Contacts From the Windows 10 People App

You can't export your contacts located in the

People app of a Windows 10 computer

to a CSV file. However, you can do this from your online Microsoft account and the online People app. From there you choose Manage | Export Contacts to

export the contacts to a CSV file. Go to the outlook email account and use the Import command to import your contacts to the email account.

Re: Exporting Contacts from Win-10 Mail to Outlook

Here are steps for importing contacts for most versions of Outlook and I’ve never used the Mail app to assist with exporting.

1. From within the inbox, Alt+F for File menu.

2. O for Open and right arrow, or enter.

3. Now arrow to the list of choices and choose Import hitting enter.

4. Select the Import from another program or file option.

5. Arrow down and choose the Comma Separated Values (DOS) option.

6. Now it's going to give you the option to find the .CSV file it is that you are  planning on importing from.

7. You are going to need to tell it in which directory to save your contacts (which will most likely be Contacts).

8. Tab to finish and it should just automatically import your contacts.

You might be able to switch it by holding the shift key and pressing the fn key. This works on more modern mhp lap tops.

Others may answer the question with a much more elegant technical solution.  for now, what you may want to try, I never have, is booting the machine, then when it is fully booted, taping down the FN key and untaping it when you are going to shut down the computer or when you need to do an improper shutdown or hibernate or sleep.  I don't know what would happen if you left it taped when you were going to reboot or boot the computer.  Having the key held down should allow the function keys to work normally.

As I said, I haven't tried this work around.  My laptop doesn't have the FN key on when it isn't pressed so I can't comment on how well this work around works.
