Vicky, Spotify is a subscription service that you have to pay for on a
monthly basis. If the price has not gone up, individual subscription is
$9.99, $5.99 for students, $14.99 for family subscription up to five or six
members, going by memory on THE FAMILY DEAL!

There should be no problem logging in to Spotify on your Fire tablet
provided you can install the Spotify app on it. No, you don't need two
subscriptions for Spotify to use the app.

Hi,

No, iOS 12 should work just fine.
Currently Spotify require iOS 11.x or later.
This is with the current version which is 8.5.58.

Guessing that the answer is a resounding Yes, then my question is, can Spotify be downloaded and work on my HD Amazon Fire tablet seventh generation running version 5.6?

What I am hoping I can do is to be able to use Spotify and have the resulting music stream via blue tooth to my Starkey Halo 2 S hearing aids, or at least to my Outlier ear pods.

Does anyone have any idea if this is possible?

I would ve very grateful for any info!

re-building win10

Nancy Hill

Sunday was a very trying day for me as I destroyed everything that was on my laptop.  Luckily, I had a back-up flash drive and that restored software to when I got the machine...more or less.

Right now I am using win10, jaws20 and Thunderbird.

I had many things on a folder on my machine, but, that is gone. So, please bear with me as I ask questions that I once had the answer to.

In my TB, I am getting all sorts of messages that are blocked. How do I get to where I need to go to open up things a bit so I don't have to go through emails one by one to allow them?

Also, how do I adjust settings so I will not get announcements each time I get a new email?

At this point, I am just thankful that I had the restore flash drive.

Thanks for your help and patience!

Nancy

Hello Vicky:

You wrote in part:

"While I can manage the almost $10 each month, I don't think I could swing 2
or three times that amount, to have Spotify on multiple devices."

I'm sorry dear sis if my previous post wasn't very clear! Let me try again;
if you're going to be the SOLE SUBSCRIBER to Spotify, and you are NOT A
STUDENT, the individual subscription is your best bet. You will be able to
use Spotify on all of your smart toy devices: iPhone, Android, tablet,
iPad, Windows. You WILL NOT NEED a separate login for any of these; the
login details you create will suffice and all your music and podcast choices
should sync across the board.

If, however, you have friends and/or family members you wish to share
Spotify with, the $14.99 monthly subscription will be in play. Each person
will have to be added by you before such a one can configure Spotify to his
or her liking.

Of course, you can use Spotify for free! Doing this does limit what you can
do, and you'll have all the ads to put up with. I think that with FREE
SPOTIFY, you can not create your own playlist.

I hope this note is a tad clearer, if not, I'll try again!

Sincerely,
Olusegun

Okay, I think I have gotten pretty far in changing my facebook log in address, but I am stuck, yet again, in the process.

Here is what I have done so far and what I am hearing from jaws on the screens as they progress through the process.

Settings & Privacy link

settings/account/?settings_tracking=mbasic_footer_link%3Asettings_2_0&refid=31 link

email is listed and there is a link below it taht says edit.

I clicked on edit and the new window has my original email and next to it it says primary

below that line it says privacy and it says friends and below that it says edit (which I am assuming I can change to allow people who are not active friends to look me up using that email address in the search bar on facebook.

below that is the second email address which I want to make as my log in address and next to that is says confirmed, as you explained via the emails I got after I had added the email address to my facebook account.

the only option under that is remove for the secondary email which I want to make my log in email address.

not sure what else I am supposed to do. like I said, the help file said to do something with the 3 dots but there is no option to make the new email address my primary log in address for my facebook account.

Keith,

The item you want is account settings.  To the sighted it appears as either 3 dots or 3 verticle lines.  Click to expand the menu.

Arrow down to settings and press enter to open it.

move by heading to the general settings heading.

Expand the contacts menu.

Down arrow until you come to emails.

Your current email is shown.

Keep arrowing down to the add email button.

Add the email you want to use as your new user ID.

You will receive two emails.  One will go to your current primary account telling you that a new email was added.

The other goes to the new email address asking you to confirm it.

Press the confirm button.

Reopen Facebook and navigate back to the emails dialog.

You will see both the old and new emails listed.  There will be a checkbox labeled primary or something similar.  Check it for the new email and you should be all set.

This message has been repeated each time, when I tried to follow instructions and fill web form.
So can anyone help me:
- how to contact a personal behind "accessible" googlegroup
- how to post messages into this group
- last but the most important plea or question, how to access "from" field in classic (html) gmail interface? I don't want to use a standard view due to performance issues. for me it is almost unresponsive, slowly etc. I'm using firefox and NVDA.
Access to "from" field is important for me, because an address, with which I'm subscribed to mailing lists, is different than my default mail address. So if I want to send a post to mailing list (new message or reply)I must change a sender's address or system would block my messages.
Yes, I can use web interfaces, but many lists don't have it or it is very inaccessible. Specificly it is problematic on freelists.org and system, which use mailman software to run its service.

Hope, I was clear enough to understand.

thanks for your help.
