I’ve never had one issue using the AT&T app on my iPhone. I pay my bill, check my data usage even though it’s unlimited, I’ve now set up auto pay, etc.

Hi Mike,
I don’t understand the finer points of baseball, but I suspect you play shortstop. You’re always on the ball. I’ll read through your directions carefully and choose the path that is closest to idiot proof.
Thanks a migful,

Well, I wish they would put the money they spent on stock buybacks and paying shareholders on upgrading their terrible dsl service areas. The worst thing, they charge the exact same price for dsl as fiber or VDSL service.

Re: punctuation levels in jaws

Monte,
Jaws doesn't have a shortcut keystroke for quickly accessing
punctuation levels, but below are steps for creating 1. Below the steps
are 3 ways to change punctuation levels the traditional ways.
1. Press, Insert + F2, to open the Jaws Manager, go to,
Keyboard Manager, press enter, navigate to, Default, & tab 1 time to get
into the list of options.
Or, you can go directly from within any program to its JAWS Keyboard Manager (.JKM) by pressing, Insert / Jaws Key + 8, on the number row, then press, Control, Shift, + D, to open the DEFAULT JAWS Keyboard Manager. 2. In the Default keyboard manager list navigate to, Set Punctuation Level none. None means there has not been a keystroke assigned. 3. Press the, Alt key, to open the menues, & right arrow to, Action, down arrow to, Add Keystroke..., & press enter. Or, press, control + A, is the shortcut keystroke for, asigning a keystroke. 4. Insert a keystroke combination like, control + dash, for example. if the combination is already being used for another command jaws will tell you. Doing this in the Default Keyboard Manager, allows this keystroke to be used in all aplications. 5. Tab to the, Okay button, press the spacebar, a dialogue will open asking if you're sure you want to modify the default JKM, press the spacebar on the, Yes, option. Now, every time you press the control + dash keystroke it changes the punctuation level. So, press the control + dash keystroke until you hear the punctuation level you want. If you ever want to change or remove the keystroke open the Keyboard Manager, Find Default, Find Set Punctuation Level, press the, Alt key, right arrow to Action, & arrow down to make your choice of what you want to do. *** Here are 3 ways of changing the punctuation level
setting:
#1. For an individual application using Jaws Quick Settings: 1. While in any application / program press, Insert + V, to open the Jaws quick settings. 2. In the search field type, punctuation, or just the 1st 4 letters will work as well and it'll take a second for the list to populate. You should hear something like, Punctuation 1 of 1 search results. Now down arrow and you should hear Jaws report, punctuation... with the ... meaning your current level setting. Now press the spacebar to toggle through your punctuation level options. They are None, Some, Most & All. 3. When you hear the level setting you want stop pressing the spacebar, tab to, Okay, and press enter to save and close. #2. To change the punctuation level for an individual application in the Settings Center: 1. Open the Settings Center by pressing, Insert + 6, on the number row. 2. Down arrow to, Punctuation closed, and right arrow to open. 3. Down arrow 2 times to, Punctuation level..., the ... is the current level you're set on. Now press the spacebar to toggle through your punctuation level options. They are None, Some, Most & All. 4. When you hear the level setting you want stop pressing the spacebar, tab to, Apply, press the spacebar, now tab to, Okay, and press enter to save and close. #3. To change the punctuation level for all applications in Settings Center default all applications: 1. Open the Settings Center by pressing, Insert + 6, on the number row, now press, control, shift + D, to open Settings Center default all applications. Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go dodgers!

I haven't tried it and of course I wouldn't knowingly recommend one. I'm not recommending it based on personal experience, I'm saying that its been around for quite a while and since I haven't heard any complaints and I have heard a number of times that it works, I expect it to and not to cause problems.

The aT&T service here in Reno is Fiber optics so the equipment is good.

I don't know if the JAWS solution can be turnned off or uninstalled or whatever should be possible for disabling it. But you should be able to use Silenzio with no ill effects on JAWS either. Gene

Re: need help uninstalling a program
Steve Matzura
I don't know how it work in NVDA, but in JAWS all those things are stored in a configuration file. I don't use the feature, but I'll create something and tell where it's stored. Of course, if someone already knows, do chime in.
