So far I hate the app. But if you get a book downloaded and can find it, use file explorer to put them on the Stream and the Audible app will download them to your iPhone.

New AudibleSync: How Do You Use It?
Ron Canazzi
Hi Group,
I have been a gold member of Audible since 2013. Recently, Audible has disabled the Audible Manager and Audible Download Manager and forced us to use the new AudibleSync. I downloaded and installed it and was able to download a book. Now what do I do? There is no menu structure. The right click menu does not work. And I see no way to authorize a legitimate book reader. Moreover, I cannot find where the books are downloaded to move to my VR stream or iPhone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- They Ask Me If I'm Happy; I say Yes. They ask: "How Happy are You?" I Say: "I'm as happy as a stow away chimpanzee on a banana boat!"

Re: Really! going to buy a printer, huh?
Holly
I have an Epson all in one. I just do a nozzle check once a week to make sure the heads do not get clogged.
Of course, if you use it often, this would not be necessary, but I rarely use my printer.

I have an ink jet printer, mostly used for correspondence, black text. Because I rarely print colors, I have my calendar set to remind me monthly to print out a full color picture. This, IMHO, keeps the color nozzles from clogging because of lack of use. Again, this is my opinion. On my Brother all in one the nozzles got clogged. Although it can be done, manually flushing and cleaning those things is very difficult. Thus my practice to clean them monthly. HTH Norma If you do get an ink jet printer, I can offer this piece of advice:

Hi All, Well, I'm gonna go ahead and byte the bullet. I've been told. Wondering again, if someone will recommend an all-in-one printer. I have had and thrown out four HP ink-jet printers and would really like to buy one that will last awhile. But, it'll probably be another HP. I'd like a "blind-friendly" one that has real buttons and not a touch screen. I'll probably order it from Amazon tomorrow. And then I'm gonna ask, anyone who will read my messages, how to extend its life. Thank you again to anybody with suggestions. Howard

hyper v issues
Marvin Hunkin
Hi. Have two issues using hyper v with narrator. When creating a vm, and then installing windows server 2019. Have not tried it with 2016. Narrator does not turn on, just hear caps lock on and off. And nvda does not turn on either. Also tried the audio end point builder and audio srv inside a vm, in windows server. Does not come on. Wish there was a way for narrator to detect if the client talk back to the server. Did try vm ware player, able to use the windows 10 talking installer. Did read the install screens for windows server 2019 essentials. But when it rebooted, no speech, and just the vm ware window. So no good. And virtual box kept chrashing when I tried to use it. So hyper v is built into windows 10 pro which I have. So for the most part it is accessible with jaws, nvda. So, any one got any scripts, work arounds, or how they get around it. Having to wait for sighted people to remote in to my machine, and then having to do this. Would like to set it up without sighted help. Microsoft has a gap in this space. Did give feedback on the user voice and also feeback hub if Microsoft reads my feedback. Unless you can direct me where I could contact the narrator accessibility team and also the windows server accessibility. Frustrated. Got 3 weeks to do two last practical assignments. And stressing out. Then every oen goes on vacation for a few weeks. Got till January 9 to complete my current course. If any one has had issues, being totally blind, how did they get speech, under hyper v virtual machine. Don’t have access to a dedicated server. Remote connection manager, worked some times and connected, then would not do that. So just used the hyper v connection I had. And then when getting out of one of my vms, if I do a shutdown, does not go back to the host, totally chrashes my speech. If I disconnect, still get speech which is weird. Any ideas. Just frustrated Able to use nvda as don’t have a jaws remote licence, going to purchase a jaws remote licence in 2021. Will beenrolling in the diploma of networking from http://www.upskilled.edu.au. Only blind student there online.. Marvin.

Greetings and Salutations Fernando,
My name is Monte Single and I live in the original toontown, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Do you do all your performances and practices on an acoustic piano or do you use electroni keyboards sometimes? Mostly I use a win10 computer with nvda. This is a very helpfu list with a fair amount of traffic. Sometimes, I contribute to a subject line, and sometimes I just use the delete key when I know a message is not of interest.
Cheers,
Monte

First thing, do not by another inkjet printer. If you have money to throw away, than an inkjet may be right for you. Spend the extra hundred bucks and get a laser. You won't have to throw it away, Yes, the toner cartridge will cost more but the price per page will be way less than an inkjet. Again, it will be cheaper if black and white will do instead of color. Why does it have to be h p? A lot of people use Brother or Canon and are happy with the product.

I've also noticed static on my BrailleNote Touch Plus with certain applications such as Tune-In and Sero. However, when I connect a Bluetooth speaker or headphones, the sound is much better. I wonder if you could do the same, then connect your Bluetooth speaker to a mixer. Good luck.
