muting and chat access in zoom app on iphone

John Sanfilippo

I'm helping a friend use zoom conferencing on an iphone.

We need to know the gestures and or, any keyboard shortcuts which will work.

We are especially concerned with two specific features:
* mute or unmute your mic audio, and Using chat.

* For muting, .
We know that on windows the key is alt plus a, and on Mac it is command shift a.
But how about ios?

* how to deal with chat:
There are more details involved here. Getting to the chat window is alt h in windows. probably command shift h on mac, but what in ios?

Help, or a reference to documentation is appreciated.

John

Any help would be appreciated

If you haven't availed yourself of this one yet download this archive of Scott Chesworth's contribution to a recent seminar on digital audio workstation tak and workflow comparison. Scott's definitely the Reaper man, and he did an excellent job on this demo/tutorial, not to mention the seminar panel.

Hi all,

Braille Blaster, available at the same site is also good, but is more complicated. I have Duxbury here, so don't need Braille Blaster. Send-To-Braille should give you what you need, e.g. downloading books in .brf from Bookshare or NLS and converting 'em to text.

Thanks for the link, David. I'm keeping your message.

Already Found My Solution To My Browser Question.

Janet

Hello Out There,
Well, I guess I'm answering my own question! LOL! I found the setting in Brave so that I could change Brave back to my default browser instead of Firefox being my default browser. So just in case, someone wanted to answer me, thank you, but I already found it. Smile! Just in case someone wants to change the Brave browser as their default, here is how I did it: I launched Brave, press alt plus f, arrow several times down until you hear settings, press enter, arrow several times down again until you hear change Brave as your default browser, and press enter, and VOILA end of my problem! So now, at that point, your browser should be set as default, and if not, ask someone on the list, as that is all I know about Brave! I just started using Brave myself, and I love it! Although, I'm thinking I might need to learn a little more about Brave though, but I'm good to go for now!
PS, I also changed the subject line, as I am not asking for help now. I'm beginning to feel like I am having a one way conversation, so I will close for now!

Can someone please tell me how I can accomplish this? I looked in the Firefox settings, and I did see it was set as my default browser, and I tried to uncheck that setting, but nothing happened. I also noticed when I see the default setting it said dim, maybe that is why I can't change it, not for sure. I also looked in Brave settings to see if I could once again change Brave back to my default browser, but I couldn't find those settings.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
Well I just don't get this. I went through the steps of adding my air fryer
to the Vesync app and it said that it was successful. Now I can't find it
and when I go in to the app, it says select your first device. Where did it
go? Where do you go to find it? If anyone has this app and machine, which
I am told is easy to set up and totally accessible,I'd truly appreciate your

Re: Refresher needed on how to switch between browsers

Nancy, I'm crazy enough to have three browsers running; I switch from one to
another by holding down the Alt-Key, then pressing the Tab-Key until I find
the one I want to switch to. I release both keys and I can have fun all day
playing with the browser I'm taunting.

I trust the foregoing is helpful; that's assuming I came close to answering

I don't know what you are working with but you are in the wrong place. I
strongly recommend using Firefox portable and I'll provide the page from
which to download it. It does everything the installed version does and has
the following very significant advantages:
Once you have it set up, you can make a backup copy. Then, if the copy you
are using becomes corrupted, you don't have to trouble shoot. Just delete
it and copy the backup copy to the location from which you run it.

If you want to place it on another machine, you can copy it there and have
all your book marks and history. Just copy either the backup copy, if it is
current, or the one you use to the new location.

Regarding the backup copy, from time to time delete it and copy the one you
use to where you keep the backup. That way, bookmarks history, and any
changes you may have made will be current.

Here is the page:
https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

Use your screen-readers find command and search for the word download.
After about three occurrences, you wwill see something like download version
and a number will be given, as you down arrow. That is the download link
you want.

It will download an exe file. the file won't install anything, it’s a
portable version, but it will place the files on your machine in a folder,
just as an installer does. Run the program from that folder and you can
send the file, firefox.exe you use to run it to the desktop as a shortcut
and run it from there. You can create a shortcut command as well using the
desktop shortcut. In other words, by making a desktop shortcut and then
assigning a shortcut command, you can run the program as easily and
conveniently as if it were installed.

Copy firefox Portable to a thumb drive or external hard drive, then paste it on the new machine. Portable programs allow you to copy them to wherever you want. I don't know if the easy transfer wizard will work with portable programs. I don't know much about that utility. But it is unnecessary when working with portable programs.
