Subject: [TechTalk] Forwarding an email message using Outlook 10 Help Please.

Hi Everyone,
For quite some time whenever I attempt to forward an email, JAWS 2020 completely stops talking for several minutes Then, I get a message saying US English spell check has stopped working. I then get a message saying do I want to close the program, or repair, or cancel. Can anyone give me any advice how to correct this issue? I've looked around in the tools by using alt plus f for tools, arrow up two times to the options, and looked through that, but I still can't find any setting that might help this, and I also went through the mail option, and all I see for the spell check is use spell check when sending a new message, although, I did see it is checked to when forwarding a message include original message when forwarding. I can't seem to find anywhere to stop the spell check when forwarding an email message, in which I think that is the problem.
I'm using Windows 7.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Janet

Peace Be With You.

Issue after updating to windows 20H2

Hello friends,

I am arvind from Malaysia, and i recently ran into a problem after updating to the 20H2 update.

As soon as the update completed, i noticed that my wi-fi was no longer working. The internet icon in the taskbar shows that there is a connection but on a further look, i get the notification that there is no connectivity.

To summarize, i had used the media creation tool to update to the 20H2 version, and have not found a solution to resolve the wifi not working issue, i tried resetting the connectivity via the command prompt, but to no avail,

So with my current standing, is there anything else i can do, because this is my second attempt with this update with the same resulting outcome,

Looking for a solution, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much ,

Arvind

Re: Accessible Way of Formatting a 512GB SD Card For Use in the BN Touch Plus

Hi

Try googling sd format, it is a free app for windows, it formats sd cards, not sure if it’ll format a large card like that one though. Let me know if you get stuck. I have the installer here.

Hi All

I’ve purchased a 512GB SD card which I need to format to fat32 so I can use it in the BrailleNote Touch Plus. Windows itself has no way to format a card over 64GB to fat32 that I know of.

Does anyone have any accessible third-party solutions?

Thanks

Hi David, My computer does have a touch screen, but this is not relevant I believe, since I am using an external keyboard.

One of the statements I can think of that it says just before it freezes is, “Desk top notification.”

I know there are others, but right now I do not remember them exactly.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Vicky, does your computer have a touch screen? I'm just wondering if it might be that you may have inadvertently touched the monitor or perhaps the mouse during the reading.

Not to worry Chris.  FedEx is supposed to bring the mic today.  I have GoldWave, Dolby On and the not-so-fun to use Zoom Handy Recorder to try if it doesn’t do stereo.  Even if it doesn’t record in stereo, it is a great app for recording band rehearsals because it instantaneously uploads to Dropbox so my band mates can have at it.

Hi Juan,

She has tried all combinations of http, https, www. and when she presses enter on the URL nothing happens.  No error codes, just nothing happens but, you can type, Notepad, or other commands, press enter and you'll go right to it.

Stay safe and take care.  Mike.

Did this issue just start or has it been this way all of the time? Also he is not getting any errors? What happens to the run box after he presses enter after entering a URL? I am going to assume he is putting the http:// or https:// before the domain.

Hi All,

I ran into a strange problem on a friend's Windows 7 Home computer.  When you type a URL into the Run Dialogue nothing happens!  I checked to make sure a browser was selected as the default and that all program associations were selected but, still nothing happens when you press enter on a URL from the Run Dialogue.

You can type, Notepad, or other commands into the Run Dialogue and you'll go straight to them but, for whatever reason URL's don't work, so to speak.  Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this issue?  All help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks much.

Stay safe and take care.  Mike.

Hi,

They apparently do charge, based on this amazon article.

Hi. Don't know where you are but they don't charge here but I don't think they provide the service you speak of. If I had a printer I could print my own label and call the post office and they will come and pick it up at my home but I don't know if there is a charge for that or if it is charged to Amazon. But Amazon charges you both for the pick up as well as the return. I
bought a 50 dollar microphone, which had terrible sound and realized it
wasn't appropriate for my needs, but the pickup and return, or
transporting it would equal half the price of the microphone, so I chose
to gift it.

Chief Walter, if I were in your shoes right now, no doubt I've been there

associated with the drive especially since it's brand-new and still under
warranty. I don't know how returns are treated in Britain; here in the
United States, unless otherwise stated, we have at least 30 days to return a
product whether defective or not for a full refund. Some sellers DO LIMIT
returns to 15 days and such; this is NOT A COMMON THING with Amazon.com
which graciously picks up the item(s) I've had to return with no questions
asked. Heck, amazon.com even provides the RETURN LABEL and the driver snaps
it on during pick up.

This is why I enjoy doing business with amazon.com, although it is slowly
becoming another monopoly.
