Looking for recommendation for heaphones for use with computer `

Loy

I am looking for recommendation for over the ear wireless headphones to use with computer. Don't need high end ones. Mainly for screen reader, so my wife does not have to listen to Mr. Reed. I checked on Amazon and they have so many to choose from  and their descriptions don't give much information about them. Maybe something $50 or less? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: read more button

Gene

I would expect the text to continue below where you are reading. I checked a lot further down the page just in case it appeared somewhere else. We don't know what is happening. Is the further text being shown in some inaccessible way, such as an image or is the text somehow not accessible to screen-readers for some other reason?

Generally speaking: Upon pressing the "read more" button, where will
the additional text be located. It seems that the page should refresh
and place the new text below the "ead more/less" button? Please correct
me on this one.

Thanks.

Hi List,

Below is a link to a Kraft web page with info about;

Kraft extra cheddar cheese slices.

On the web page, I press h and land on the heading for the product.

After line or 2 there is a button that says “read more”.

When I click on the button with space bar or enter, the button torns into, “read less”.

What is the correct key press to read more?

Cheers,

Monte

Getting started with HyperV using NVDA

Akash Kakkar

Hi all,

So, I want to use HyperV instead of VMWare Workstation Pro for my virtualisation needs.

Can anyone please tell me his/her experience with HyperV while using NVDA?

What shortcut keys are there?

How to switch to guest OS?

How to switch to host OS?

Any NVDA addon to make any part of HyperV more accessible.

Please help me

Re: a jaws settings question

If you uncheck the box that says, "Key Echo" in the start-up wizard, that should solve your problem. There might be a way to do this in the settings center, but don't quote me on that. Your best bet would be to search for "Key Echo." I hope that helps.

I haven't looked at the site and there may be accessibility problems but regardless, that is the explanation for why the wording changes. Whatever accessibility problems may exist arent related to this behavior, which is common.

Like Pam I wasn't able to find any additional text after clicking on the

a combo box with several options.

The button changess to read less because you have chosen to read more. If
you want to go back to reading less, that is now the purpose of the button.
You are now able to read more. This is just the same as a button on a web
page for an audio player that says mute. When you press it and sound is
muted, the button will now say play.

Hi List,

Below is a link to a Kraft web page with info about;

Kraft extra cheddar cheese slices.

On the web page, I press h and land on the heading for the product.

After line or 2 there is a button that says "read more".

When I click on the button with space bar or enter, the button torns into,
"read less".

What is the correct key press to read more?

Cheers,

Monte

I seem to remember that we couldn't upgrade past 1.75 in the usual way and I'm been to the malware bytes official site but couldn't tell what I needed to download.

I may still have that old version on an old machine.  See if reading the title bar tells you the version.  As I recall, it does in recent versions.

There are programs where you can't update from a version that is too old. You may have to uninstall and reinstall the program.  But I don't know if that is the case with this program.

I don't know what version I have and I don't know how to find out, I
remember at first I had version 1.75 so that may be it, but when I open
it and tab all I get is quick scan, scan, and exit.

Incidentally before I posted my question I used the jaws cursor to find
the update tab and clicked on that and tried to update that way, but I
got an error doing that.

I don't know how old your version is.  In recent versions, if you just tab around, you will get to an update now button.  When I run mine, I almost never use it, the first thing that happens is that a dialog is presented with a yes and no button.  Using NVDA, as I tab, the dialog isn't read, just the buttons.  I can make it read with NVDA key b and it is a dialog asking if I want to update and telling me that my computer may reboot during the update.

If you don't see that dialog, tab around and see what you find.

Hi all,

I just installed malware bytes and entered my registration number but
now how do I update the version? I'm quite sure that the version I had
to install is quite a few versions behind what is current.

Thanks.
