Re: Which of these BlueTooth keyboards are better?

Hi James,

I use the Pluggable keyboard from AT Guys and love it. When unfolded, the keyboard is spacious enough to allow for comfortable typing, and the key travel is deep enough to make me feel confident in my accuracy. You're going to need a flat service to make good use of it. Typing on your lap will be difficult, because it will want to fold in on itself. I've rarely discovered this is an issue though. The battery life is phenomenal. In the two years I've owned the keyboard, I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to juice up. Of course that will depend on how often you use it. I hope this was helpful. Joe

The Comments Section does show up, but sometimes you need to move up and

down the screen three or four times before your movement triggers the Comment section to either be read, or to be displayed. And then some Videos have the Comments turn off.

Which of these BlueTooth keyboards are better?
James Bentley
If anybody has played with either of these two toys, I am curious to know which you liked the most. Or, maybe you know about even better choices?
I’m looking for a small folding keyboard that will function with multiple operating systems. However, I am mostly interested in using it with my iPhone.
Thanks to anyone who has any ideas.
First: The Plugable, Folding full size laptop style BlueTooth keyboard with case From At Guys
https://www.atguys.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=27&products_id=305
Or:
The IClever folding BlueTooth keyboard from Amazon
Maybe some of you have experience with or opinions about one of these keyboards.
Muchley appreciated,
James B

Victor Reader Trek question
Jacob
Hello tech talk list. As the subject suggests, I have a question about the victor reader Trek, although I guess it applies to the Stream as well. Besides the diagnostics menu, the profile reset and pressing the info key 3 times quickly, are there any other undocumented/hidden keystrokes or commands that have been discovered Thank you Jacob

Re: a pin drive / USB stick question..?
Thomas N. Chan
You can do a chkdsk on it. Type cmd on your run and then type chkdsk e: /f E: will be your drive letter and f switch will fix if there's any file issue, structure issue etc. /r will repair or move if there's any cluster issue It's fairly cheap nowadays for usb thumb drive, but I will not put that as a storage if you read and write often on them. YouTube displays the comments under the recommended videos, and it starts with the spot for you to add a public comment. 1. Press NVDA+control+f to open NVDA's find function. 2. Type the word "comments" (without quotes) 3. Press ENTER to move to the first instance of the word. 4. Press TAB twice to move past "Sort by" and onto the edit field. I have found that sometimes everything hasn't loaded and it can't find comments. In this case, escape the error dialog, press CONTROL+END to jump to the bottom of the page, then up arrow and it's usually actually at the comments - YouTube seems to load the video and then related / suggested videos, then after that the comments, and sometimes it doesn't load the comments until you actually scroll down to the bottom of the page to get to them.

Re: 5TB Portable External USB Hard Drive from Seagate for A cheap Price: What does anyone think?
Robin Frost
Hi,
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
I agree with Evan I've had Seagate drives for a few years in various capacities both desktop AC powered and pocket drives and they've all served me well. Obviously anything with moving parts can fail at any point and one can always find anecdotal tales for and against any brand at will so it'd seem. the good thing about the age in which we live is that drive prices have come down and there are also cloud platforms for having backups in more than one place. I've learned that redundancy is my friend. Good luck with whatever you choose. Take good care. Robin

Yes, I'm a Thunderbird user and I've gotten this, too. I did a shift+delete and it went away. I haven't had it since. This was late last year.

Re: a bad email
Thomas N. Chan
You either need to wait for it to cache it down or change some of the settings like download headers etc. imap and smtp are both different things. imap download mails, smtp send mail out. To force the download of email, you close your thunderbird, open it again and go to another folder or local folder. then go back to that folder and see if it redownload again. if not, compact it. but before you do all these , make sure you change your server settings on thunderbird how message is downloaded. It will only happen when the folder itself has not been re-cache from the mail server. Are you using imap? Regards, Thomas N. Chan
