The link is correct. It is a long link. When you get a message like that, check to see if the link is more than one line long. If so, you need to copy and paste the entire link into a browser's address bar and follow it that way.

See your Google Calendar in Outlook

Outlook for Microsoft 365 Outlook 2019 Outlook 2016 More...

By importing a snapshot of your Google calendar into Outlook, you can see it alongside other calendars in the Outlook Calendar View. To keep the imported calendar up-to-date, subscribe to the Google Calendar in Outlook. If you don’t, the only way to update it will be to import another, more current snapshot.

Tip: If you don't plan to use Google Calendar anymore but want to keep your events, you can import your Google Calendar to Outlook so all of your appointments are integrated into one Outlook calendar view.

Subscribe to your Google Calendar

An Internet Calendar (iCal) Subscription keeps your Outlook copy of your Google Calendar up-to-date.

  1. Log in to your Google Calendar account.
  2. In the left column, click My calendars to expand it, hover over the calendar that you want to add to Outlook as an Internet Calendar Subscription. Select the three dots to the right of the calendar name, then select Settings.

  1. Scroll down to the Integrate Calendar section and right click on Secret address in iCal format and select Copy.
  2. In Outlook, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
  3. On the Internet Calendars tab, click New.

  1. Paste the address you copied in step 4, by pressing CTRL+V, and click Add.

  1. In the Folder Name box, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook, and then click OK.

When you start Outlook, it checks Google Calendar for updates and downloads any changes. If you keep Outlook open, it also periodically checks for and downloads updates. (Google Calendar tells Outlook how often to check for updates.)

Note: Changes you make in Outlook aren’t sent to your Google Calendar. To update your Google calendar, open Google Calendar from a browser.

Import a calendar from Google Calendar

  1. Log in to your Google Calendar account.
  2. In the left column, click My calendars to expand it, click the arrow button next to the calendar that you want to import into Outlook, and then click Calendar Settings.

  1. Under Private Address, click ICAL.

  1. In the Calendar Address dialog box, click the web address of the calendar.

  1. When prompted, click Open to import the calendar into Outlook.

The calendar opens in side-by-side view in the Outlook Calendar. It’s also added to the Navigation Pane in Calendar view, under Other Calendars.

Note: The imported calendar is a static snapshot. To update it, you need to subscribe to it or repeat this procedure to import a copy of the most current version of your calendar in Google Calendar.

6.    Paste the address you copied in step 4, by pressing CTRL+V, and click Add.

3.    Under Private Address, click ICAL.

4.    In the Calendar Address dialog box, click the web address of the calendar.

Here's the text of the article:

It’s also added to the Navigation Pane in Calendar view, under Other Calendars.

it stay that way? I'm trying to do something but it's not showing up and someone
on another list (which clearly isn't for screen reader users) suggested that I
maximize my folder pain. I'm using latest Jaws and Edge. Thanks Madison

Why don't you use the reset option in Windows 10 which doesn't rely on safe mode and will place a clean Windows 10 on the machine.

Subject: [TechTalk] HP laptop : How to enter safe mode?

Hi, I was informed on this list that my installation of windows 10 is most likely damaged (I have previously posted the slowness using jaws and windows 10 and th lag and what not on the system.)

I was told that if I enter safe mode, I can choose to either reinstall the windows 8 that came pre-installed on the laptop, or reinstall windows 10, since my cousin did the upgrade to windows 10 when microsoft was offering the upgrade for free from windows 8 to windows 10.

My question is how do I enter safe mode on an HP laptop. I know that some name brand systems have different safe mode keys taht you have to push and hold while the system is booting up.

(I hae a netbook that uses the F8 key during startup to enter safe mode.

Anyone have a clue as to what I hold down on my HP laptop to enter safe mode?

Many thanks

What are you trying to do? If we know that, we can address the actual problem, not just how you want to try to solve it, which may or may not be necessary or a good solution.

Is IMAP option enable in gmail settings before setting up the account in Thunderbird? If so, , after entering your name, user email address and password Thunderbird should automatically detect all relevant settings. Pressing continue once or twice should open a gmail window asking for permission to allow Thunderbird access to gmail account, once that's done the setup should be complete.

I use a program called Sync2. I don't remember the site, but a Google
search should bring it up. It'll sync your Google contacts, Calendar,
and Notes, but mind you, it is a paid program. I think I paid
something like $30 for it. I was not able to find a free solution.
Outlook won't sync up with Google on its own. Of course, I would be
all too happy to be proven wrong.--Joe

Hi all,
Is it possible for me to somehow sync my Google and Outlook calendars? If
this
is possible then I'd really appreciate if someone could tell me how to do
it.
The reason I ask is because I've been trying to add my favourite sports
teams'
schedules to my Outlook calendar with absolutely no luck so yesterday I
decided
that since I have a google account that I'd try and add them to my Google
calendar and knock on wood I think it worked, but I really don't want to
have
to log into my Google account everyday just to check my calendar. I'm using
the
latest versions of Jaws, Edge, Office 365 and Windows 10, but I also have
Google
Chrome and Firefox installed so if it'd be better for me to use one of
these
browsers then I can do so. Really hope someone can help me!!! Thanks

If you send the visual answer, we may be able to figure out what to do from it. I would think it might have something to do with manually entering information and not allowing the automatic search for account system to look or if you get that message, there may be a way to bypass it and set up the second account manually.

But an automated system would find that you have already set up an account and give you some sort of message.
