Where do you find Account Settings on Outlook? I want to add

Live account headers in Outlook

Running Win10 20 h2, Jaws 2021 and Office 365.

For some unknown reason, on my Live.com account, the message headers only contain the size of the email and the date? This happens only on this account but not on others. If I delete a message and look in the deleted folder they have the normal heading info.

I am sure I have inadvertently changed some setting which has cause this but no idea how. Can anyone help?

Re: sighted child can't always see videos on my PC's screen can i fix this with no vision

The first thing to try is probably finding and pressing the space bar on the full screen button.  I don't know if maximizing the screen, which is not the same thing, would help.  It might but I think that using the full screen button would do what is wanted.  I really don't think screen brightness has anything to do with the problem.  the description in the original message doesn't indicate that anyone has any difficulty in seeing the screen and I don't know whether making a screen too bright causes problems looking at it, as in looking at too bright a light.  If full screen doesn't work, let us know but I looked at Youtube help on the subject.  The feature is for watching videos that take up the entire screen.  This feature would probably cause what you want to be seen to be seen even if a sighted user wouldn't ordinarily use full screen for it.

Has anyone used Solo Learning to train yourself in coding?

Sharon Hooley

Hi,

I was looking for Swift Playgrounds for my iPad, and came across Solo Learn.  You can train yourself in different coding languages.  Since it was one of the first search results to come up from searching the app store, and I didn't see the app I wanted, I downloaded it.  It seems Voiceover-friendly, but when I typed the "Hello World!", I either can't find or am not able to proceede to the next step, expecting to see a congratulation. message.  If you are successful at moving along, how do you manage it?

Thanks,

My apology.

I generally don't use that link because I access it directly from gmail itself.
its located the app list which will have things like, drive, calendar, gmail, sheet, docs and so on.

Re: A Basic Notepad Question

Richard Justice

Hi Lynn,
In Windows, many programs that have a "Save as" option, the default location is usually the Documents folder,
such as Notepad, Word, Windows Fax and Scan and WordPad.
but if you browse to a different location, that will become the default for that program.
I let the programs save my files to the "Documents folder, then move them where I want them later.
Just an option.

Hi,

In instances like this when dealing with editing settings on ups.com aira can be your friend it's much easier for sighted people and even they complain about this site in particular.

Once set however you won't have to worry about it.

Take good care.

Yeah… but you know that they won’t remove your account like  that, and further you’d not get an email most likely if your server is congested.

I see that you said you will change your password so I didn’t have to repeat that.  I didn’t read that part before answering.

You can’t rely on any particular signs or sign of a message being authentic or not.  While there are lots of messages with signs indicating spam, some e-mails are very carefully prepared to be convincing.

Never follow links in e-mails where there is any chance it might be spam.  Go to the regular web site.  It is unlikely you would be asked to verify your e-mail.  As was suggested, change your password.

Just because many spam messages have misspelled words doesn’t mean that they all do.

How to tell amount to send in Paypal

Hi all,
When sending an amount in Paypal if you don't want to use friends and family, how do you figure the amount you should pay so that the other person gets what they need?  For example, $100 or $200.  How much more would you have to pay to get that even amount to a person?  Thanks much in advance.

These steps can be used in any standard save as dialog.  That’s what the Notepad save as dialog is.  If they work in Windows 10 in Notepad, they will work in general.

You don’t have to have typed anything to save.  I don’t know what you see in Windows 10, but as you tab around the save as dialog, you will see in Windows 7 and probably in the Windows 10 save as dialog, a field that says address and then presents the path such as c:\and whatever comes next.  .
That will tell you where the file is saved.  If you need more information, I’ll experiment and see if you can do more with the tool bar.  Close save as dialog with alt f4.

Subject: [TechTalk] A Basic Notepad Question

This is probably classed as a basic Windows question. But, how can I
locate what folder Notepad stores a file that I create? It seems that
the folder location
changes.

Thanks in advance.
