Solid state drives should not be defragmented at all. Trim is the equivalent of defragmentation for solid state drives and it is usually enabled by default when such a drive is detected.

Yes I was going to say that and was waiting on you to pick up on it. as Audible files is protected files. Also you have all kind of ways to listen to audible files without taking there protection off

Hi, I do defrag my data drive but not that often maybe once every year . But It might need to be done more often if you are deleting things from it very often and you are changing things on it fairly

I defrag all my drives, I have it set up to defrag on a weekly basis. I suspect though that unless you are placing and removing a large amount of data onto this drive that
