Re: How do I refresh the folder list?
I use POP3 myself and I will continue to do so. I like having my mail automatically saved locally and I have no need for IMAP synchronization. It is all a matter of preference and requirements so

Pop is no longer recommended, as most businesses do not provide pop support.
That's not to say pop doesn't work, they will just not help you, if there is
a pop problem so we will be forced to come to

Re: How do I refresh the folder list?
And, why, exactly, is POP3 not recommended? Security? Personal preference? And, if I may ask, why not have a GMAIL account for the list, if it's working so well with thunderbird? James, if you wish

I trust list members not to intentionally provide harmful links. Sometimes shortened URLs are useful for preventing extremely long ones from being split by line breaks.

Re: A review on the Apple AirPods
Carlos, is this type of links allowed here?
Of course, maybe the original poster just copied it from somewhere.

A review on the Apple AirPods
Interesting review. Not sure if I will purchase a pair or wait for the
Beats entry into this new W1 market.

Re: windows 10 still not recognizing my External HardDrive
This has already been tried based on previous discussions. Upgrading to Windows 10 seems to have caused the same problem for Michael twice if I remember correctly.

Re: How do I refresh the folder list?
Sometimes a particular solution works and sometimes it doesn't. This is not
a competition to see who can provide the most workable solutions. If I
provide a solution and it works for someone, then

Re: windows 10 still not recognizing my External HardDrive
Hi All,
No offence to anyone, but before anything, I'd try on another windows 10, and something below windows 10, and if it works on say, 8, but not on either of the 10s, the issue then is pinpointed.

Edmond, please allow others to respond with additional thoughts and
information without the hostile remarks. You don't have to treat every
disagreement as a challenge.

Re: How do I refresh the folder list?
Completely irrelevant and unjustifiably hostile. You said yourself that this may have nothing to do with the problem and it clearly almost certainly doesn't. This has nothing to do with my setup.
