Oh so that is what I am doing wrong then. I just had a USB to phono plugged in going to a phono out on an amp.

Hi, I did the run command you said and the only device listed in recording tab was the microphone.
Is it worth trying it in another usb socket?

What extension do the Outlook Express messages you saved have? I haven't used Outlook Express for years and I'm not sure I remember the choices. Perhaps you can convert them with a third party

I don't set the sound card as default and it works as expected. When the card is connected, it automatically is the default. But you may have to set whatever recording source you want to use in the

Is the sound card connected? You will only see it if it is. Also, have yu installed the software for the soundcard? If you haven't. you may not see any or almost no options for working with the
