I have been using the SeriousXM web player for years. It's a bit tricky if you're not accustomed to it, but it is usable enough.

Technically a dedicated converter will do the same since the files first have to be decoded before they can be reencoded, even if it is to the same format with different parameters. Speed is not

The batch processing in GW is great, in most cases. I use it to
convert most everything to 44100/192 mp3 with no problem.

There is a recording program called Audacity which you can use to convert files but the problem is the same as I believe would exist in Goldwave, that it would be much slower because the program
