I believe 50 qualifies you for AARP membership. You get a card, and it would have a number on it, which you would give to Consumer Cellular.

If the description I saw in Wikipedia is correct, that they are induction motors, They are used in refrigerators and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are used in other common applications.
