Windows-10, Office 13, JAWS 18 - what are the steps to make
a macro.
I found that Alt+F8 is Macros, but I could not figure out,
after I put in my short cut what to do to enter the text and
save it.

I saw after a google search it is a toggle.
I am still learning zoom and I did not know the host can lower your hand.
I didn't even know there was a lower command until I saw it either lol.

Perhaps it wasn't discussed because, as another message said, the host will usually lower it for you. I didn't know there was a lower command.

Sorry, but this is unclear in the extreme.
It's alt-y to raise your hand and alt-y to lower it again. It's a toggle.
Sorry, don't know the Mac commands, but I think it's command-y.

As far as I know, you don't have to. The host sees it and responds or doesn't but I've not seen anything about lowering it and it should have been mentioned in the discussions I've seen if you had
