It's a service. You would normally download and install it on a web
server that you might have handy, but they also have a hosted version,
which I use. https://miniflux.app/hosting.html

Yes, try pasting the link into the address bar of the browser rather than just pressing enter on it. Always try that if a link in an e-mail doesn't work and it is a written out link.

Yes, if you are used to IE you may want the favorites to be in the favorites folder. You can still do this, it works the same way for chrome browsers, edge, a little different but, still the same
