Hello Damien
Thanks much. I bought a very old song via iTunes and I want to let it sound a bit better. For my ears my method of inserting silence in one of the channels makes it sound quite a bit

Hi Fanus,
The channel delay technique you are talking about is an illusionary trick. It may make the file sound stereo to your ears, but then try turning it back into mono and playing it. It'll sound

I don't know; because if the track was actually recorded in mono, there is no way you can really turn it into stereo. Pam.

Hi Fanus,
It depends what you mean by making a mono file stereo.
If you mean changing the format to support stereo editing, then you need to resave the file as a stereo file (file, save as, then click

Re: GoldWave: how to make mono file stereo
That will just make the file take up twice as much room. If it is mono, it won't make it stereo. Pam.

Re: How to make Firefox let me choose to run rather than save a download?
I can't say that what you are describing never happens but it has been my experience that if a program wants to communicate with the web site, that is done during the installation by the installer.

Re: Question About Desktop
I went threw the posts and it does not tell me which windows you are using. If you have windows10, grab the program from your shell:appsFolder and you can send a short cut for chrome to your desktop.

I don't know if there is something different about that shortcut as it is presented in the Windows start menu search results. My recollection is that send to is present in those results in Windows 7.
