I do not know what the free streaming service is from Alexa, but the "tune in"service available on my google home mini has tens of thousands of radio stations, and more podcasts than I could

Re: I am trying NVDA for the first time. Is it hard to learn? and are there tutorials I can get? I am running windows ten. Jim
I don't know how you use your computer. A lot of what you do will be the same because a lot of what you do is using program and Windows commands. Some commands, such as read title bar, are the same.

You can listen to music free with the Google assistant. It plays music on Youtube. I don't know if it works with other music services.
I also don't know if The Echo can play music on Youtube.

Re: longevity of braille printers?
The u s b to parallel adapter has extended the life of many devices.
Not just braille embossers. And as matrha says, that’s a good thing.

Re: longevity of braille printers?
Hi Jack,
I did a search on your product and I find it is quite expensive. This is from the manufacturer. Might I ask what you paid for your unit and where you obtained it.
Thanks

Re: longevity of braille printers?
That’s a pretty big question.
If the printer is being used for personal use, it could last for many many years.
As with all electronics, keep it cool, dry and dust free.
I worked for a school

Hi,
I just bought a new viewPlus compatible braille buddy embosser as you may know… My question is: how many years can I expect it to last? And how do I set the correct paper size for embossing on

Re: Error on boot
The C++ error might be worth investigating further, because if it's a runtime library, other programs may depend on it.
The JAWS thing, well, have you ever had a demo of JAWS installed on that

Error on boot
After updating my Windows 10 to version 2004, build 19041.685,
Each time the system boots, there are (apparently) error messages on the screen. I find the messages only after NVDA has started
