Depending on what a user is wanting to accomplish is primarily what would determine which soundcard he or she would actually want to use, but USB soundcards at about $6.49 work just fine for basics.

You can keep reinstalling the driver if Windows removes it. I think it might remove it during a full upgrade, the six months apart ones, but I doubt it would for security and stability updates.

Its good to know that an accessible equalizer is still available with Realtech sound cards. I had thought that the accessible equalizer had been supplanted by an inaccessible one at some point.

Okay, I was able to get alt V to work. It says show hidden items unavailable.

When I use the jaws cursor it says “select a file to preview. Alt V doesn’t do anything while I’m in the folder.
