Re: two questions about slates, please
Hi,
Speaking strictly for myself and no one else I always prefer the metal slates at least from APH. The metal has always felt like a stronger higher quality product to me and they've served me well.

Hi Ann,
Thank you for your very detailed and informative post. If thefull-page plastic board slate is durable, the $20 price tag would be veryattractive.
Thanks,

I believe that APH sells slates and styli, but you'll get a much better deal at either ILA or The Braille Bookstore. They both have all kinds of slates.

I’ve used the regular windows unzip utility, and also 7zip. People say the windows unzip utility doesn’t make folders, but mine automatically did, without my doing anything. Pam.

The books make their own folders, no matter how many books you put on the drive. The only time I ever had a problem was a couple of books somehow didn’t go onto one book, the parts stayed separate.
