@icloud.com, @me.com, and even @mac.com can all be e-mail aliases for the same address, and that's what has to be happening here if the same messages are showing up without forwarding

Using Windows 10, if you type in hyper terminal in the search box under start, you are taken to a list of settings one of which is 'enable legacy software.' By default, it is unchecked.
