Re: zoom question
Gene
Perhaps it wasn't discussed because, as another message said, the host will usually lower it for you. I didn't know there was a lower command.

Hi all,
Sorry, but this is unclear in the extreme. It's alt-y to raise your hand and alt-y to lower it again. It's a toggle. Sorry, don't know the Mac commands, but I think it's command-y. Ann P. -- Ann K. I feel kind of silly asking because of how long I have been using JAWS, but could someone provide a direct link to download iTunes for Windows 64 bit? The Apple site seems to only offer the option to “get it from Microsoft,” and I have a rough time navigating the Microsoft Store once JAWS says the word touch, and I only hear that little Microsoft store bubble sound when I try to navigate. Thanks folks.

Hi all,
The manual is on the SD card, just copy it over. Use back-from-braille to back translate it. Ann P. -- Ann K. Parsons Portal Tutoring EMAIL: akp@... Roku problems
Dave
Hello,
Our Family has been using Roku instead of Cable TV for the last year, and up until recently, it has worked very well. No complaints, and would recommend it for anyone. but, about two weeks ago, the Audio started to sound Jittery. Sounds like the Audio is Shaking. I did visit the Roku web site, looking for Trouble Shooting Fixes, but found nothing that helped. I thought it may be that our Internet Speed may have changed to something slower, but I can still Stream Video and Sound from our Computers without such poor Audio. Anyone here use Roku, and have experienced this weird jittering of the Audio? Anyone know a Solution? Thanks, Grumpy Dave

Command Reference Guide for Orbit Reader 20 in formats other than Braille?
Sharon Hooley
Hi,
Is there a way to download Orbit Reader 20 command quick reference as a format other than Braille? I want to use it on a separate device so I don't need to jump back and forth on the Braille display. Thanks, Is it hard to communicate, even with hearing aids? Visit www.CochlearAmericas.com

Re: worrying, got locked out my pc

What problem are you having now? You didn't say anything that makes it likely that Edge is corrupted. You said you got an Edge sign in page telling you to sign into Windows. We don't know why and it isn't clear to me what happened since you wrote. Do you have acdcess to your computer now?
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
It may be that, just as you aren't supposed to remove Internet Explorer, you may also not be expected to remove Edge. I did more than one search to see if there are instructions for removing it. I looked at the first three or four results of the searches and I found nothing. I found articles on how you can get the old edge back but nothing on removal. Also, you said this problem happened before. Did it happen before you got the new Edge? I see no reason to believe this is an Edge problem at this time. What is causing the problem, I don't know. You said it happened after updating JAWS. I suggest calling JAWS technical support or contacting them using whatever contact method you wich provided on their web site. I'm not saying this is the case but I think it is more likely that Edge is workihng correctly and that somehow, the JAWS update corrupted something in Windows and Edge responded appropriately. Gene

Thanks for the steps. I found I do not have running apps in the back ground. I did notice that if I go to the settings center and under privacyapp settings, under app permissions, it saids I allow allow access to account info on this device. But I have all unchecked e-mail and accounts, keeper, microsoft content are off. So i did not find any running apps. But if that is so, how come I did not see windows defender and it always scans my pc and tells me there are no issues. What I mean, if it is keeping my pc covered, how come I did not find it was not a program running in the back ground? Thank you all. Further, I'm not sure things might not be worse if you do that. What if the thing that runs Edge and wants you to sign into Windows tries to run it in future if the problem recurs and can't. What would happen then? I think the real problem should be solved, not trying to stop a symptom with unknown results.
