My guess is that there are two possibilities. Either Michael retained actual control of the list the whole time or they were nice enough to give it back.

Open the IE download manager with Control J and select the download you want to cancel from the list. At this point you have to use your JAWS cursor or equivalent to click the "Cancel" button.

You are certainly not breaking any rules. Just so you know, when messages are sent to the list you can see the originating address by opening the message and viewing the
"from"
field.

You can also try pressing the Right Arrow key while the file is selected in the download manager to get to the
