I personally have both speakers. I have them in my room and in the office and my mom has both in her room. They both have qualities to like and dislike. It is good have both say if you are trying to

Re: longevity of braille printers?
That’s a pretty big question.
If the printer is being used for personal use, it could last for many many years.
As with all electronics, keep it cool, dry and dust free.

longevity of braille printers?
Hi,
I just bought a new viewPlus compatible braille buddy embosser as you may know… My question is: how many years can I expect it to last? And how do I set the correct paper size for embossing on

Re: Error on boot
The C++ error might be worth investigating further, because if it's a runtime library, other programs may depend on it.
The JAWS thing, well, have you ever had a demo of JAWS installed on that

Error on boot
After updating my Windows 10 to version 2004, build 19041.685,
Each time the system boots, there are (apparently) error messages on the screen. I find the messages only after NVDA has started

Google device or Alexa device?
Hi List, Is there a way to get either of these devices to work with email messages? That is to: read them, respond to them, delete them or store them in a folder?
Many thanks for any help!

Thunderbird doesn't use ribbons. In thunderbird, to get efficiently to the folders list or the message list, use f6. it may save you a lot of tabbing around. F6 moves you from what is called a pane

Hi all,
Gene, thanks for posting this. I don't understand what people's problem is with ribbons, they're just menus. Granted, they are horizontal, but they're still just menus!
