Re: New AudibleSync: How Do You Use It?
The new format is because they no longer use format 4 and all downloads are in the enhanced format, which is considerably larger file.

Re: Reading Messages in Outlook
Hi all,
These are messages that have graphics in them and are "prettied up" by putting the text in tables. Just hit the NVDA-modifier-key and the down arrow and let the thing read.

Turn off announcement of tables in your screen-reader.
Someone can tell you how if you tell us which screen-reader you are using.
Also, as far as Firefox is concerned, I don't use it much but I had

I think there are 2 apps. There is an audible app available from the Microsoft store that isn't much good. I believe Doug Lee wrote a script for it but I haven't bothered. Audible sync is much better

Thanks Ron. I have been just using audible sync itself to transfer the books. Having access to the actual files will be a real bonus.

Re: New AudibleSync: How Do You Use It?
In the past, Audible has been concerned with accessibility. Have people written to the proper department? It sounds as though the app is inaccessible.

Re: New AudibleSync: How Do You Use It?
Hi Gene,
I tried those methods with NVDA and nothing changed. That is to say nothing was more visible using the review/object navigation with NVDA. Not even the OCR keystroke for NVDA 'insert + R,'

Howard:
You might call the accessible products hotline. They will research the product you are looking for and send you emails with a few products that are accessible and will meet your needs.

Thank you Monte. That was the advice I was looking for a few months ago.

Inserting Latency in NVDA Speech and Bluetooth Audio
Dear all,
This may come off as an odd request, but I do need it to simulate a
certain scenario. I would like to have NVDA's speech - with the same
voice settings and my same ESpeak-NG - be outputted

Re: New AudibleSync: How Do You Use It?
So far I hate the app. But if you get a book downloaded and can find it, use file explorer to put them on the Stream and the Audible app will download them to your iPhone.
