A slight correction to Gene's keystroke to access Jaws. To open the Jaws context settings the keystroke is, Insert + J, whether you run Jaws from the system tray or not.
Take care. Mike. Sent from

Go on Amazon and look for an enclosure for a SATA drive that supports USB for probably 10 or $20. When you get the enclosure open it up and plug in the data and power connections to the drive then

Hi, My bathroom scale is giving me inconsistent weight, even when I just step off and back on. I don't move it and it is on a hard floor.
. Is that what is happening with yours?
I do not remember

Re: need recommendation for a talking bathroom scale
Check out the Newline SCB-105 talking bathroom scale, which is currently selling on Amazon for under $29. It is very accurate, has a clear, female voice and runs on two AAA

Re: closing an open program that's not on the taskbar
Good question. You've hit on all three places I'd look, so it might be a service that needs restarting. Simplest thing to do is restart Windows and see if you can re-launch the game application.

Mike,
I tried alt-tabbing but not windows key-tabbing.
I've rebooted since then but I'll try the windows key-tab if it happens again, it does happen occasionally.
