the hell with it. Oh btw I contacted the author of outlook express
for windows 7 and told him the issue I was having with his outlook

LOL that was honestly not my intention. I do disagree with the way certain things are handled on BlindTech, but I promise not to use this list as my personal forum to bash or put down others. I would really just like for this list to become a useful and friendly resource.

Does anybody here know what kind of battery is there in this unit?

This is a portable reading machine from the then called abisee.com now merged and its business is taken over by Freedom Scientific.

We don't have a real service-minded dealer for it here in Sweden.

If I only could by this internal battery from Freedom, I would let a local technician put it in for me, regards.

It says all the time charging 6% and when I disconnect the ac adapter it says low battery and goes immediately into sleep mode.

I am not giving up, I wish anybody here can help, even if they can buy this battery for me whatever it costs and I pay the virtual helping person with PayPal, I haven't opened the unit to see what is inside nor read the ac adaptor either.

I hate these irreplaceable internal batteries of blindness devices, regards.

So, the real subject is Windirstat.

 

I have downloaded the little monster, about 450 kb.

 

I have done all the obvious thing to clear up  space on my  little s s d drive. As I said earlyir, the big items on this drive are win 7, office2013, a couple o c r programs and a few utilities like adobe p d f, revo, 7-zip,  etc..

I have done all the obviouse including  disk cleanup, emptied temp, recycle, and download folders.

 

So what will dindirstat show me?

somewhere in your city. The batteries are usually available to those types
