Hi Gene,
Please, read my message carefully. I said, that until we know more info, I wouldn't close this list down, if, Carlos decides to. As for subscribing, I have not said anything about it, because that is a personal preference. From what I can tell, most of us are still on both lists.

No one knows who co moderators will be. Even Michael doesn't know. How are you going to know how the list evolves if you aren't a member. Wasn't the main problem the new owners?

Hi Gene,
Just wondering, but who will be the other co-mod? And I wonder why Carlos got banned in the first place? This is just me, but before closing this down, (if Carlos decides to) I would wait, until we know more..

You, Carlos, or others who may have left Blindtech may want to reconsider. Michael Capell has gotten the list back and has sent out an announcement indicating that there will be very few rules and that rules will be greatly relaxed. The very brief owners are no longer either owners or moderators.

Asking for help with an error 403 message in IE

BG <bernardgeorgiou@...>

Hi,

Can you help out with an Error 403 using IE 11 64bit and Windows 7. I have turned off my antivirus software, the firewall and run deep scans for malicious software with both Malware bytes and Essat and still I have the error. Funnily though, my Thunderbird still works so surely that would indicate the internet settings are correct, so I am stumped. Can anyone help?

With all due respect, Michael seems to go through one of these phases about every few months. And this is not the first time he has given the list away and then taken control back within a day. The fact is that his new co-list owner was rude to me in private messages and when I commented on this fact, he immediately went on the defensive and was quite rude himself. And when I defended myself and responded to her rudeness, she immediately banned me from the list so no thanks.

I prefer UltraISO, but there are other free tools which can be used to create the image. The unattended file can also be placed on a flash drive with or without the Windows installation files. If the flash drive is made bootable and you know how to boot from a flash drive, you don't have to bother with DVDs at all. Or you can just leave the unattended file on the flash drive by itself. If you boot from an installation DVD, it will search for the file and use it if it can be found.

With all due respect, Michael seems to go through one of these phases about
every few months. And this is not the first time he has given the list away
and then taken control back within a day. The fact is that his new co-list
owner was rude to me in private messages and when I commented on this fact,
he immediately went on the defensive and was quite rude himself. And when I
defended myself and responded to her rudeness, she immediately banned me
from the list so no thanks.

You, Carlos, or others who may have left Blindtech may want to
reconsider. Michael Capell has gotten the list back and has sent out an
announcement indicating that there will be very few rules and that rules
will be greatly relaxed. The very brief owners are no longer either owners

figure out my own problem. However, with it being 4 in the morning now, I

Hello:

I signed up here, because I think carlos is the coolest
thing since slice bread.

Anyways, apparently, I'm still having trouble accessing my c
drive an any other external drives when plugging them into my laptop running
windows 10.

My daughter says, when I tell her, for example, I'm trying
to locate my passport, which is the name of my 1tb external hd, she clicks
on the mouse and then jaws says this pc, so how can I get to this pc via the
keyboard? This pc is in the file explorer which use to show my c drive, dvd
drive etc, but it's not showing any of that.

I saw the message where Michael is taking the list back.  Yes he said the rules would be relaxed.  That's okay until his diabetes gets out of control.  When that happens, he seems to become another person.
So, I still decided to leave the blindtech list.
