Please, read my message carefully. I said, that until we know more info, I wouldn't close this list down, if, Carlos decides to. As for subscribing, I have not said anything about it, because that is a personal preference. From what I can tell, most of us are still on both lists.

Asking for help with an error 403 message in IE
BG <bernardgeorgiou@...>
Hi,
Can you help out with an Error 403 using IE 11 64bit and Windows 7. I have turned off my antivirus software, the firewall and run deep scans for malicious software with both Malware bytes and Essat and still I have the error. Funnily though, my Thunderbird still works so surely that would indicate the internet settings are correct, so I am stumped. Can anyone help? Bernard

This is a wonderful resource. You've obviously put some serious time and effort into it. I had no idea, for example, that one had to start with Vista to get some of this stuff done. Of the two ISO editors you mentioned in the documentation for the unattended installation file, UltraISO and PowerISO, which do you prefer? Or, for that matter, eschew?

I have installed Windows 7 several times using an unattended script. In fact that is how I installed Windows 7 for the first time. Although these days I prefer to simply use Win7PE so I can have speech available.

Carlos, I agree with you even though I have only been a member for a short time and I haven’t experienced some of the things you mentioned in this email but I didn’t like it when they were rude to you because between you and a few other regular members that offer your help regularly and are very educated and helpful it seemed like you and a few others should have done this a long time ago. I will follow you wherever you go and I mean that in a good way I am not a stalker I just like what you do and how you do it. Christina Â

Re: where can you get windows7pro

I prefer UltraISO, but there are other free tools which can be used to create the image. The unattended file can also be placed on a flash drive with or without the Windows installation files. If the flash drive is made bootable and you know how to boot from a flash drive, you don't have to bother with DVDs at all. Or you can just leave the unattended file on the flash drive by itself. If you boot from an installation DVD, it will search for the file and use it if it can be found.

This is my first post to the list and hopefully there will be many more. I
get lots of info from the blindtech list but am so weary of all the conflict. I
don’t intend to bash anyone, just want to help when I can or get help when I
need it.
Best of luck to the list.
