3.  Tab once to the list of startup items list, programs that start up when your pc boots up.

4.  arrow down to search for the program you don't wish to have started up.  if it is in the list, press the right applications or context menu key, arrow down to "Disable", then press enter.

5.  Restart your pc.

Note: this is for windows 10 users, but I think it might work on windows 7 as well, i forget.  Cheers!

Yo Bro,

Try going to All Programs in the Start Menu, and in there find the Start-up folder and if this program is in there you can either delete it, copy  or cut it out and this'll stop it from starting at start-up.

If you have a copy of the program you can open the Run dialogue by pressing, Windows Key + R, and type the following

shell:appsfolder

and press enter.  Find the program in here and remove it.

Windows 10 latest and jfw 2020.
I installed discord many moons back, how do I have it stop from starting up?
I looked under the start up tab and services tab in msconfig, but discord
was no where to be found.
Then I looked in the discord application itself, and couldn't find anything,
as I am still learning my way around that application.

This sounds like an awesome speaker! My girlfriend used to have a Bluetooth speaker that I thought sounded pretty good. However, this one sounds much better. I’m interested in this one and checking out the HomePod mini. I’d like to compare the two of them.

Blessings,

Victor

Some difficulty with a human wear a braille display

Dana Leet

Good afternoon everyone. I have a B I 14 also known as a braille trail, I know they are pretty much the same device because they show up simultaneously the same in my phone. The problem that I’m having with this device, is that it charges to a full 100% and then when I use it it will only go down to about half of a charge meaning the battery indicator says 50% and then it won’t power on anymore and I have to charge it again and it seems like I get about 10 hours of use out of the device, when it’s normally supposed to be 20 I thought. So wondering what you all think I could do or if there are any fixes I could try? I believe it should be under warranty as it’s only a couple months old. Dana

Re: very disapointing knews

The answer to that one is complicated. At times some believe more in
the person than they should. Some people are just gullible and despite
the evidence staring them in the face, they trust the source of the
rumor. Some believe that if they answered the question of who said it
they are betraying that person.

As you can see, it can get complicated.

I know of a dealer who has spread many rumors the last one that I know
of being about 2 months ago, yet he has customers that defend and
protect him. I'm not going to mention names because I've already
received legal threats from that direction, but I will respond to
obvious falsehoods with the truth. Yet despite the truth being
presented, the fans refuse to accept the facts. (shrugs)

i do have a possible source in mind someone who has a history of

Where did your source get the rumor? When was this started? Now we

I've used the Victor streem avidly since it came out, and now I hear
they are being discontinued. We are being forced to use our phones
more and more. What happends to all the stuff we has saved on the
streem?

Re: very disapointing knews

We don't know how many people are spreading the rumor.  The best thing to do might be for the person who is the customer of the dealer to tell the dealer what was stated on the list earlier in the day.  Someone contacted the manufacturer of the Victor Stream and was told that it is not being discontinued.

I think that rather than single out one person, such as one vendor, it is far more valuable to consider the question of how the rumor is worded.  Do those who hear it have it introduced with the words I heard, or something similar?  Almost literally every time I see a statement on any of the blindness lists I'm on that begins with "I heard" or some similar  variant, the statement is either wrong or so misleading that it might as well be.

We haven't, to my recollection, seen any statement of the rumor attributing it to a reliable source such as the manufacturer.

Also, I'm not saying that a statement attributing something to a reliable source is necessarily correct.  Mhy  point is to be very suspicious of I heard or I was told, or other statements of that kind.

Re: Smart Speaker advice, please

Hi Mike,

, this boes revolve is  Wider  at the bottom and tapers  in at the top.

Think of the shape like a large, probably 16 + oz paper coffee cup   upside down.

The outside is a perforated metal with no seem.  The top feels like silicone.  It sits on a base that has the charging cable plugin.

It has six buttons on  top;

---12 o clock is the off on button,

---6 o clock is the mute button.

---10 o clock is the pairing button

---2   o clock is the imput selectio  I use audio cable

---8 and 4 o clock are volume up down.

No, it does not   have bass trebble up down or balance selection;  you would have to do that from the music/siybd siyrce,

Monte,

Is this device fatter at the bottom or top?  I know my question doesn't sound logical, but there's a lot of things that are perceived one way and when you buy them they're the opposite.

Stay safe & take care.  Mike.

I have a boes revolve.
It is the size of a large water glass, slightly tapered from the bottom to
top.
It definitely has bass.
I can make the neighbours complain without trying.
It can use Bluetooth and audio cable.
I think it costs about 250 u s dolla.

When you put this puppy in your purse,  you know it's there!

I know. i'm a Humanware dealer and have heard nothing but this rumor about the Victor Reader Stream being discontinued and was wondering about the source of this rumor. I haven't even heard this rumor from the biggest source of Victor Reader related rumors I know of.

Stay well,

I did not renew with Book share, because I cannot stand the A Capella voices on my Victor Stream.

There is also an app for book share books called Reed to go. This utilizes the read aloud voices.
